OUR Thoughts on Serenity Island Resort, Mamanuca Islands
Serenity Island Resort is located on Kadavulailai Island, it’s a convenient, yet secluded paradise, only a short 30 min boat ride from Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu. The 48-acre tropical island is one of the closest islands to the mainland and guests staying at Serenity Island Resort have the island exclusively to themselves. The restaurant provides both indoor and outdoor dining options. Located by the beach there are gorgeous views by day and by night. An ever-changing menu ensures there’s always something new to try during your stay and breakfast is included to start your day on the right foot. Enjoy succulent seafood, delicious international favourites, exotic local fare and a generous selection of wines, beers, and cocktails to explore and savour!
SUPs, Kayaks and Snorkelling equipment are available for guests. All non motorised activities are included in the nightly rate. Enjoy the private beaches with pristine waters, take a swim and discover a plethora of fish and aquatic life. You can find a secluded spot and enjoy some time away from the main resort. Enjoy various activities including feeding the baby turtles, fish feeding, or take a guided island tour or make your own island adventure.
Your Accommodation Options
All 33 of the modern bures are spacious and designed to provide a relaxing and comfortable stay. With private patios, tasteful furnishings, air conditioning, modern ensuites and high cathedral style ceilings they provide the perfect setting to retire at the end of the day. There are four room types. The Beachfront and Palmview Bures are designed with couples in mind and the 2 Ocean Breeze Bures and 1 Garden Breeze Family Bure have more space and are designed for families or small groups.

Palm View Bures:
The 5 air-conditioned bures offer palms and garden views, with modern and traditional décor accents. It includes a mini bar fridge, fan, flat screen and IPTV, USB connections, bed linen and towels.

Additional Bedding: No additional bedding available.
Beachfront Bures:
The 25 air-conditioned bures offer premium beach views, with modern and traditional décor accents. It includes a mini bar fridge, fan, flat screen and IPTV, USB connections, bed linen and towels.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed
Additional Bedding: No additional bedding available.
Garden Breeze Family Bure:
The 1 air-conditioned Family bure with garden views offers modern and traditional décor accents. It includes a mini bar fridge, fan, flat screen and IPTV, USB connections, bed linen and towels.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults or 2 Adults & 2 Children aged under 12.
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed and 1 Single Bed
Additional Bedding: Baby cot available on request.
Ocean Breeze Bures:
The 2 air-conditioned Family bures with ocean views offers modern and traditional décor accents. It includes a mini bar fridge, fan, flat screen and IPTV, USB connections, bed linen and towels.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults or 2 Adults & 2 Children aged under 12.
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed and 1 Bunk Bed
Additional Bedding: Baby cot available on request.
Getting to and from Serenity Island Resort
Getting to and from Serenity Island Resort is easy, it is the closest Mamanuca Island to the mainland. Transfers are available for any arriving and departing flights from Nadi International Airport and comprise a vehicle transfer between Nadi Airport and either Vuda Point Marina or Port Denarau, then resort boat service between Vuda Point Marina or Port Denarau and Serenity Island Resort.
Serenity Island Resort provides a speed boat launch service from Vuda Marina which is 15 mins from the Airport or 35 mins from Denarau. Transfers run between 8.00am & 5.00pm, transfers outside of these times are at a surcharge.
South Sea Cruises high-speed catamaran transfer twice daily from Port Denarau Marina and inter-island. Serenity Island Resort is the second stop on the way out. Please note that the return leg back to Port Denarau takes over 2½ hours with stops at all the Mamanuca Island’s Resorts along the way.
Kids Policy
Children are aged between 4 & 12 years old. A child is welcome to stay in existing bedding wihtout charge however if additional bedding is required a rollaway can be provided at a cost charged per night.
An infant is any child under the age of 4 and cots are provided free of charge.
Check-in/Check Out
The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however, the Hotel standard times and rates are as follows:
Check In Time: 02.00pm
Check Out Time: 10.00am
