OUR Thoughts on Tropica Island Resort, Toba O Lakalaka Bay, Malolo Island, Mamanuca Islands, Fiji
For those seeking to relax and reconnect without the distraction of children, Tropica Island Resort is very worthy of consideration. The new beachfront infinity-edge swimming pool is a very pleasant place to start the relaxation process, both restaurants serve excellent food and a highlight of every evening is the Fijian entertainment after dinner, when guests are welcome to join in if the mood takes you. A good-value meal plan is available and this can be organised either at the time you make your booking or once you arrive at the Resort. 

Tropica Resort looks after Honeymooners very well and they also offer Wedding Packages for those seeking a superb setting for a wedding. They have a lovely Day Spa too which offers a full range of treatments. The beach out front of the Bures and Suites continues on past the pier another 200/300 metres along to Sunset Point – a great spot for sunset cocktails and canapes and from which there are extensive views out over the Mamanuca Islands and the mainland mountains of Viti Levu.

Restaurant & Bar Upgrade
The signature restaurant, Lakalaka, will soon unveil a stunning new look, featuring an upgraded breakfast buffet and refreshed furnishings. The much-loved Lakomai Bar will also be revitalised with an elegant new design—further enhancing the ambience for pre-dinner drinks, shared plates, and relaxed evenings by the water. Combined with world-class cuisine and romantic island setting, these enhancements will elevate the dining experience guests already love.

Your Accommodation Options
All 3 room categories over 28 rooms offer a private pool and all offer an ocean view. All Beachfront Pool Bures are virtually on the beach frontage with only a short patch of lawn between the veranda and the sand. The spectacular Sanctuary Pool Suites are located on a rise overlooking the Bures and each one has a view out over the ocean.  A feature of all the accommodation at Tropica is the feeling of light and space.  They have done a remarkable job of fusing contemporary island suites and Fijian Bure styles.

 Sanctuary Pool Suites: Each with a private plunge pool.
Inspired by the tropical sanctuary in which they overlook, the 7 x Sanctuary Pool Suites are modern and contemporary, the suites offer a generous space inclusive of open-plan bedroom and living area. Perfect for couples and honeymooners, all suites also offer a delightful private balcony complete with a step-down plunge pool. A stylish interior bathroom flows effortlessly into the stunning rear courtyard which features a private outdoor shower to complement the indoor shower.
Plunge pools are 3.5m x 2.1m x 1.5m deep.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed or 2 King Single Beds
Additional Bedding: No additional bedding accommodated

 Beachfront Pool Bures:
The 18 x Beachfront Bures with plunge pools are located two to a building only metres from the water and are surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Perfect for honeymooners and couples, these bures are both spacious and stylishly appointed. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from your private balcony or sip champagne while lounging by your personal infinity-edge plunge pool. Complete with indoor bathrooms with double vanities and a stunning river rock outdoor private courtyard with shower, these rooms are designed to provide the ultimate luxury experience.
The plunge pool is 3.5m x 2.4m and 1.7m deep and a balcony with a romantic 2-person swing seat overlooking the ocean.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 Adults
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed.
Additional Bedding: A Single Bed can be added for a third adult or 2 singles sharing.

Deluxe Pool Bure:
The 3 x Deluxe Pool Bures are perfect for romance and relaxtion and have comfort and privacy. Doors open out to the infinity edge pool and views of the ocean. They are spacious with open plan bedroom and living area. The indoor bathroom opens to a private outdoor courtyard shower.
Plunge pools are 3.5m x 2.4m x 1.55m deep.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed.
Additional Bedding: No additional bedding accommodated

Getting To and From Tropica Island Resort
We offer the following transfer options:
 South Sea Cruises high-speed Catamaran:
There are several scheduled fast catamaran ferry services each day between Port Denarau and Tropica Island Resort.
 Speedboat/Water Taxi
Speedboat transfers (24 hour service) which take approximately 40 minutes from Port Denarau to Tropica Island Resort can be arranged and this a good alternative. The operation of speedboats is entirely dependent on the weather.
 Helicopter
Helicopter transfer to and from Nadi International Airport & selected resorts. Helicopters land at Tropica's own heliport.

Kids’ Policy
Tropica Island Resort is an adults only. Only guests aged a minimum of 16 years are accepted.

Check-in/Check-out
Check in time is 2:00pm
Check out time is 10:00am
Should a room be required for guaranteed check in prior to 2:00pm, the room will be required to be booked from the night prior, a full night’s rate will apply. Late checkout is available on request and subject to availability, charged at 50% of rate for the bure or suite occupied.
