OUR Thoughts on The Terraces Apartment Resort
Like us, if you have enjoyed holidays at the major resorts on Denarau Island Fiji and taken the Denarau Shuttle to and from the Port Denarau shopping/dining precinct, you will have stopped at The Terraces Apartment Resort which is the first stop on the shuttle route after leaving Port Denarau. In our opinion the property doesn’t present best from the shuttle as what you see from here is the back of the apartments, but go through the Reception area and around to the front of the property and an altogether different and very pleasant vista unfolds. The three storied apartment blocks are laid out overlooking the resort pool and the waterways and the 3rd hole of the Denarau golf course and mainly face south and south-west. Every apartment is fully-furnished and air-conditioned and has either a furnished patio or 2 beautiful balconies facing the view.
With all the restaurants of Port Denarau virtually on the doorstep and the fact that all the apartments have full kitchens, the pool-side restaurant, The Terraces Café only opens for breakfast and lunch but does provide room service meals.
The Terraces provide a good range of services – professional child-minding, 25 metre swimming pool with children’s pool area, a full-service Tour Desk, complimentary high-speed internet in all apartments, spa services, a games and swap-a-book library, complimentary car parking and, for guests coming and going from island resorts, baggage assistance to the ferry terminal.
While The Terraces is very convenient for overnight stays between Denarau and the off-shore islands, it is a great deal more than a transit hotel. The apartments are ideal for a complete holiday stay for those people looking for a full apartment which includes a full kitchen, laundry, separate bedroom/s and a great outlook and an attractive price. The proximity to Port Denarau is another bonus. The 2 Bedroom Apartments are particularly comfortable for 2 couples sharing as both bedrooms are the same size and both have a good-sized ensuite bathroom (no chance of one couple feeling short-changed at this place). The 3 Bedroom Apartments are absolutely ideal for a family and couples find the 1 Bedroom Apartments most agreeable for a stay of a week or so.
Your Accommodation Options
The Terraces Apartment Resort is a 3 level walk-up property. The 1 Bedroom Apartments are all located on the Ground Floor, while the 2 and 3 Bedroom Apartments are all two-level apartments with their living room and kitchen on the first floor of the building and the bedrooms on the second floor of the building. All 2 and 3 bedroom apartments have a nice balcony on both floors providing occupants with pleasant views over the pool to the lakes and fairways of the golf course.

1 Bedroom Apartments:
1 Bedroom apartments have a separate bedroom and separate living room.
Facilities include a kitchen with full-size fridge-freezer, 4 burner gas hob, microwave oven and dishwasher. Laundry includes a washer and a dryer. Bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 guests
Existing Bedding: 1 Queen Bed plus a Tilt-way bed.
Additional Bedding: A cot for a baby may be added.
2 Bedroom Apartments:
2½ Bathrooms
With 2 separate equal-sized bedrooms upstairs from the living/dining/kitchen, each with a full ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Facilities include a kitchen and a washer and a dryer. The half bathroom is off the living room downstairs and has a toilet and small vanity.
Maximum Occupancy: 5 guests
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed and 1 Queen Bed plus a rollaway bed OR 1 Queen Bed and 2 Singles plus a rollaway bed.
Additional Bedding: A cot for a baby may be added.
3 Bedroom Apartments:
2½ Bathrooms
The 3 Bedroom Apartments have 3 separate bedrooms upstairs from the lounge/dining/kitchen.
Bedroom 1 is more spacious than the other 2 bedrooms and has a full ensuite bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms which share a bathroom are smaller but still comfortably fit a Queen Bed in each. Both bathrooms have a walk-in shower. The half bathroom is off the living room downstairs and has a toilet and small vanity.
Facilities include a kitchen with full-size fridge-freezer, 4 burner gas hob, microwave oven and dishwasher. Laundry includes a washer and a dryer.
Maximum Occupancy: 7 guests
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed and 2 Queen Beds plus a rollaway bed OR 2 Queen Beds and 2 Singles plus a rollaway bed.

Getting to and from The Terraces Apartment Resort
We will normally provide a coach or private car arrival/departure transfer from/to Nadi International Airport to the Terraces Apartments Resort as required/agreed in package arrangements. Transfer time is approximately 30 minutes depending on the state of the road.
From The Terraces Apartment Resort it is really easy to get around the whole Denarau Island Resort Area. Accessing Nadi Town is also easy.
Walking. It is an easy walk from The Terraces over to the Port Denarau restaurants and shops although we always find the walk is best taken outside the times of the main heat of the day.
Denarau Shuttle. The Denarau Shuttle which services all the resorts on Denarau Island going to and from Port Denarau restaurants and shops also stops at The Terraces and runs throughout the day and into the evening. There is a charge to use the Denarau Shuttle and purchasing 1 round trip ticket actually gives you unlimited trips for the day, so it's a good way to perhaps do a round trip of all the resorts and attractions to get your bearings, then use the ticket again to perhaps go back to one of the resorts for a meal or take the kids to “Big Bula” water park or to enjoy lunch at the Golf Clubhouse. Even though The Terraces is within easy walking distance of all the Port Denarau shops and restaurants, if you still have your day pass ticket on the Denarau Shuttle, that’s a good way to get back from the Port/Marina after an evening meal as The Terraces is the first stop after departing Port Denarau.
Taxis. Taxis are readily available.
Public Bus. The Yellow Bus runs a regular service to and from Nadi Town.
Kids Policy
• Children are welcome.
• Apartments are charged on a “per apartment” basis irrespective of the number of adults and
children occupying the apartment, subject to the maximum occupancy policy of each
apartment type.
• Baby cots are provided free of charge for infants aged under 2 years.
• The pool has a special area for children and child-minding services are available at a cost.

Early Check-in
Guaranteed immediate access to a room prior to 2:00pm may be arranged at the cost of an additional night.
Late Check-out
A late check-out until 6:00pm (subject to availability) may be arranged at 50% of the rate of the accommodation occupied.
Day Use
Day Rooms for use between 10:00am and 6:00pm may be reserved at 50% of the nightly rate.
