Our thoughts on Sonaisali Island Resort
Although it's very close to the mainland, there is no mistaking that you are on an island when you stay at Sonaisali. The sea and all the in-water and water-borne activities add immeasurably to the enjoyment of a holiday here. Try to do a Jet Ski tour out into the bay - it's a great introduction to this fun sport, but don't miss the Sunset Cruise or the Snorkelling Safari trip to the Mamanuca Islands. The huge swimming pool, with its swim-up bar is another highlight and you're always free to take out the Resort's canoes and sailing catamarans. As an alternative to land transfers to the mainland jetty for Sonaisali, we can arrange for you to arrive & depart by sea via Resort boat transfers to/from Port Denarau Marina and most Mamanuca Island Resorts like Treasure, Castaway, Plantation, etc.

As is the case on most of the not-so-far-away Denarau Island beaches, the beach sand here is grey, but that doesn't detract from all the relaxing tropical feel of Sonaisali. There is plenty of white sand above the tide line.

If you fancy a little tropical romance, it's well worth considering staying in one of the Beachfront Spa Bures which have a "Spa made for two" on each wide timber deck. (Anyone for room-service meals?)

This private island resort is a great spot for a wedding or honeymoon. It also has excellent facilities for family holidays.

Your Room and Bure Options
The two, two storey Hotel Room blocks are on either side of the main building and pool complex. These are all good sized hotel rooms and there is an ocean view from every one. However, the Standard Hotel Rooms have not been refurbished and are probably best considered to be no more than 3 star standard. Beachfront Hotel Rooms have been refurbished and match the rest of the Resort for 4 star quality.

Next to the Hotel Room blocks is a row of Beachfront Spa Bures and behind these, but still with good views between the Beachfront Spa Bures is a row of Ocean View Bures. Both of these two categories have a similar layout, but of course, only a Beachfront Spa Bure has a Spa Bath on the deck. There is a cluster of three, 2 bedroom Beachfront Family Bures which are handy to the Kids Club and the main hotel building.

Two Bedroom Family Bures have 2 separate bedrooms and a lounger area. There is a full-sized bathroom and extensive decks.

Getting to and from the Sonaisali Island Resort
 We will provide a coach or private car arrival/departure transfer from/to Nadi International Airport to the wharf at Sonaisali.
 Complimentary Resort boat transfer across the lagoon to the Island from the jetty on the mainland.
Resort boat transfers can also be arranged between Sonaisali and Port Denarau Marina and most Mamanuca Island Resorts.

Kids Policy
Children aged 18 years and under stay free of charge (maximum 2 children) when using existing bedding in the same room as parents.
Up to 4 children aged 18 years and under stay free of charge in a Two Bedroom Family Bure when using existing bedding.

1 Baby cot is free of charge and must be included in the maximum room occupancy.

Check-in/Check Out
The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however, the Hotel standard times and rates are as follows:
Check In Time: 2.00pm
Check Out Time: 11.00am

 Day use rooms can be provided at 50% of the contract rate between 11.00am - 6.00pm.

Cancellation Policy
 All cancellations must be made in writing.
 If cancellations are effected between 7 and 3 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to two night’s accommodation will be levied.
 If cancellations are effected within 3 days of scheduled arrival including no shows, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of total stay will be levied.
