Our thoughts on Mana Island Resort & Spa
That's easy - Mana is beaches, beaches and beaches. North Beach, South Beach and Sunset Beach to be exact. If you arrive by ferry you will be at South Beach and you will immediately note the extensive range of beach and water activities on offer. You will also note the a-la-carte restaurant with its tables almost on the sand. A short walk through the resort brings you to North Beach, a long stretch of pure white sand bathed in all-day sun and a great spot for snorkelling and sunbathing. The Mamanuca Restaurant on North Beach is the resort's buffet restaurant where breakfasts and buffet theme dinners are served. Nearby are two swimming pools. Sunset Beach is a lovely secluded spot on the north-west point of the island and it's a pleasant late afternoon walk past the end of the island's little airport runway to experience the tropical sunset from this spot. Wander along a bit further and you come to the delightful Sunset Wedding Chapel and complete the circuit by passing by the secluded Honeymoon Bures before arriving back at South Beach. We also enjoy taking the bush path up to one of the two lookouts high up on the island - the views from there are well worth the effort.

There is a wide range of different accommodation types and grades at Mana which can be a bit confusing. Let us try to unravel it for you, so that you can make an informed choice on the best accommodation type that suits your requirements/expectations. All accommodation types are air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan. Room Categories are shown in ascending order of price.
Room Categories
 Island Bure
The affordable Island Bures are the original accommodation on Mana. They are generally located in the "inland" space between North & South Beach. Each bure is around 30 square metres in area and has a small balcony, a thatched roof and feature and an outdoor shower (in the French style!). Most are stand-alone buildings but some are joined and these offer interconnecting bures which are great for extended families.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 Adults & 1 Child or 2 Adults & 3 Children
Existing Bedding Configuration: 1 King or 2 Singles or 1 King + 2 Singles
Additional Bedding: 1 Pull-out Sofa bed. A baby cot can be added.
Ocean View Room
The modern 40 square metre Ocean View Rooms are more like traditional hotel rooms and are located in a 2 storey block to the left of the swimming pool complex on North Beach with lovely views from the sizeable balconies out over the ocean and the northern Mamanuca Islands. Interconnecting rooms an be requested.

Additional Bedding: 1 Pull-out Sofa bed. A baby cot can be added.
Deluxe Ocean View Rooms
These big 60 square metre stand-alone Bures are located at either end of North Beach. Polished wooden floors and big balconies give these Bures a modern South Pacific feel.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 Adults or 2 Adults & 3 Children
Existing Bedding Configuration: 1 King or 2 Doubles
Additional Bedding: 2 Sofa beds. A baby cot can be added.
Ocean Front Suites
Huge 100 square metre suites overlooking South Beach. The most recently added units at Mana, the Ocean Front suites comprise of an upstairs bedroom which is in the form of a mezzanine with a void from which you can look down to the living area below. There is a nice big upstairs balcony as well as a ground level covered patio. Maybe families with very young children may find the mezzanine a bit daunting but for school-age children it shouldn't be a problem. The views from the Ocean Front Suites is alive with interesting waterfront activity - yachts, catamarans, kayaks, the comings and going of the island transfer ferry to mention a few, but once the day comes to an end the tropical calm takes over.

Beach Front Bures
A lovely location, virtually on the beach in the centre of North Beach but privately screened by tropical plantings, these 60 square metre stand-alone beauties with their polished wooden floors feature a private Jacuzzi room in each one. These Fijian-chiefly bures have wonderful views and great South Pacific ambience. Romantic couples - this is for you!

Honeymoon Bure
Located in a romantic and secluded spot just off the end of South Beach, these monster 90 square metre bures are the top of the range on Mana Island. There are only 7 Honeymoon Bures, each one has a private open-air Jacuzzi, polished wooden floors and wooden shutters. The Bure comes with a self-drive buggy.

Getting to and from Mana Island Resort & Spa
Transfer from Nadi International Airport to Port Denarau Marina by coach or private vehicle to connect to your boat transfer.
South Sea Cruises high-speed catamaran transfer from Port Denarau Marina and inter-island.
Island Hoppers helicopter transfer to and from Nadi International Airport & selected resorts.
Kids Policy
Children aged 15 years and under stay free of charge (maximum 2 children) sharing with two adults using existing bedding.
Children aged under 3 years eat free of charge at buffet meals when accompanied by a full paying adult.
Children aged 3 - 15 years receive a 50% discount on buffet meals when accompanied by an adult. Please note the 50% discount only applies to buffet meals and not to a la carte or set menu meals.
The Tu Vonu Kids’ Club is available for children aged 3 – 12 years. There is a one-off joining fee of F$25 per child per stay. Kids Club hours are 9.00am to Noon, 2.00pm to 4.00pm and 6.00pm to 9.00pm
Babysitting is readily available given a minimum 24 hours notice.
Check-in/Check Out
The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however, the Hotel standard times and rates are as follows:
Check In Time: 2.00pm
Check Out Time: 10.00am
Day use rooms can be provided at 50% of the nightly rate between 10.00am and 2.00pm.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing.
If cancellations are effected between 5 and 14 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of total stay will be levied.
If cancellations are effected within 4 days of scheduled arrival including no shows and amendments, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of total stay will be levied.
