Situated on Malolo Lailai Island, an island with 400acres of swaying coconut trees, 12 kilometres of almost deserted white sand beaches, beautiful topical gardens and waters teeming with tropical marine life, Musket Cove and its 150 friendly staff are dedicated to making your holiday both memorable and unique. The Marina in the sheltered lagoon is a haven for visiting yachts from around the world as well as providing a great base from which to embark on the many watersport activities and excursions on offer. We would sum up Musket Cove Island Resort as having "something for everyone". It ticks all the boxes for a tropical island holiday - great beaches, colourful tropical landscape, the option of authentic-style Bure accommodation or absolute waterfront bungalows with overwater balconies or modern 2 bedroom garden villas, an island-style spa, restaurants and bars and even a convenience store, but what makes it special and different is the international marina and Yacht Club right on its doorstep. The Ratu Nemani Bar is the link between the Marina and the Resort. This famous bar is a relaxed sand-between-the-toes type of place where resort guests happily mingle with locals and cruising yachties.
Then, there is "The Trader" Musket Cove's convenience store which stocks a good range of groceries, frozen food, fresh milk and vegetables and is the ideal stocking up place if you are staying in a Villa with kitchen, or even if you want to make use of the resort barbeques to cook up a personal meal.
There is a good range of restaurants at Musket Cove, Dick's Place Bar & Bistro is the main restaurant, The Coffee Cove Cafe attached to "The Trader" is a great spot for lazy coffee as well as light meals and don't overlook "The Pier", a great place for a romantic personal evening private dining for 2 to 6 people at the end of the pier in a really romantic setting. Musket Cove is a great spot for weddings and honeymoons. There is an extensive range of wonderful wedding locations to suit all tastes and sizes of weddings. Imagine an intimate ceremony on the pier or on Smiths Island overlooking the bay, or, for bigger parties consider the Malolo Lailai Beach or even the picturesque Wedding Chapel located on the hill overlooking the marina.

Your Bure and Villa Options
Musket Cove originally comprised a semi-circle of thatched Fijian-style studio Garden Bures built amongst the palm trees and facing on to a lovely open village-style lawn. The circle was completed by a row of beach frontage bures and the hotel's main building. Many upgrades later, these bures are still there in their original locations facing the village lawn and the beach. This circle of bures has been complimented by the addition, outside the circle, by 6 large 1 bedroom Lagoon Bures built beside a lagoon close to the main hotel building. The Lagoon bures have large balcony decks which extend out over the lagoon. Nearby, on "dry land" there are now modern 2 bedroom/2 bathroom Resort Villas and the most recent additions are the Armstrong Island Villas which are literally on their own island with their own swimming pool and BBQ area. The island is accessed by an over-water walkway from the main resort. Armstrong Island Villas have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and feature nice big individual floating pontoons off the front of each veranda.

Overwater Lanai deck, bedroom separated by sliding screen doors, air-conditioned.
Due to the overwater nature of the Lagoon Bures, children aged between 15 and 5 years will only be accepted subject to special conditions. Children under 5 years are not permitted in Lagoon Bures.

Getting to and from Musket Cove Island Resort
Transfer from Nadi International Airport to Port Denarau Marina or Vuda Point Marina by coach or private vehicle to connect to your boat transfer.
Malolo Cat high-speed catamaran from Port Denarau Marina. This service operates 4 times daily. Approximately a 50 minute trip
Amphibious float planes from Nadi International Airport or other island locations, landing on the sea at Musket Cove Island Resort before pulling up to the beach or into the Marina.
Island Hoppers helicopter transfer to and from Nadi International Airport & selected resorts
Fast speedboat transfers are also available as an alternative, although their operation is always subject to weather conditions. Crossing time from Denarau is approximately 40 minutes.
Kids Policy
Garden Bure & Resort Villa - Children under 16 years of age stay free (maximum 2 children) sharing with parents using existing bedding.
Lagoon Bure & Armstrong Island Villa - Children 5 - 15 years of age stay free (maximum 2 children) sharing with parents using existing bedding. Children under 5 years of age are not permitted. Please note that a child waiver form must be filled in at time of reservation.
Beachfront Bure - Children under 16 years of age are not permitted.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing.
If cancellations are effected between 21 and 8 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 10% of total stay will be levied.
If cancellations are effected within 7 days of scheduled arrival including no shows, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of total stay will be levied.
