BLOODY MARY'S HOTEL BORA BORA
Our Resort Report

OUR Thoughts on Bloody Mary's Hotel Bora Bora

NOTE: Reservations will open May 18th, 2026 with an international opening scheduled for September 1st, 2026.

Iconic, vibrant and world-famous, Bloody Mary’s has long been a must-visit culinary landmark in Bora Bora. Now, the legend is entering a new era with brand-new accommodation opening later this year in September 2026. Inspired by the legendary Bloody Mary’s Restaurant, whose name it proudly carries the 53 room
boutique Bloody Mary’s Hotel blends the vivid, playful energy of “tiki culture” with an effortless, contemporary elegance, shaping an experience that feels grounded, social, and deeply connected.

Since 1979, the legendary Bloody Mary’s Restaurant has been a gathering place in Bora Bora. Over decades, locals, travelers, artists have come together around shared tables, fresh fish, and lively evenings. Today, that same spirit extends across the Bloody Mary’s Hotel, with each place offering its own way to meet, linger, and enjoy the moment. The iconic Bloody Mary’s Restaurant remains at the heart of it all. Sandy floors, thatched roof, wooden tables and seats, fresh fish on display. The experience is as it has always been: simple, lively, and open to everyone. You choose your catch. The Chef prepares it for you. And before you know, drinks and conversations flow into the night.

Set above the lagoon, Povai Bay brings a lighter, more contemporary experience to the table. In the morning, breakfast is served to the rhythm of the water. For dinner, French influences meet island ingredients in a bistro-style setting.Come for the unhurried pace. Stay for the view.

Just a short drive from the hotel with a complimentary shuttle, La Bella Matira offers another way to experience the Bloody Mary’s spirit. Set along Matira Beach, it’s a place for sunlit lunches, easy afternoons, barefoot evenings, and time spent close to the water. Mediterranean flavors meet the energy of Bora Bora. Fresh, vibrant, and best enjoyed together, somewhere between the table and the water.

Tiki Tide Bar ist he sweet spot for nibbles and punchy cocktails as the day shifts. A place where the view takes on new meaning as the light softens.

The fitness bungalow offers a light-filled space to keep your routine in motion, whether to start the day, or reset between activities, And for those drawn to the water, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are available at La Bella Matira, making it easy to trade a workout indoors for one on the lagoon.
