OUR Thoughts on Return to Paradise Resort & Spa, Return to Paradise Beach, South Coast, Upolu, Samoa
Return to Paradise Resort has become a favourite holiday spot in Samoa and it’s no wonder, not only is this a very special, resort with superb facilities, great accommodation and fantastic food, but it is also located in a very special place.
So, what makes this location so special? Return to Paradise Beach is located on the south coast of Upolu where most of Samoa’s beautiful beaches are found. Of all Samoa’s wonderful beaches, this beach was chosen as the location to shoot the classic movie love story “Return to Paradise” and since then it had only been open periodically for day-trippers to enjoy. It’s hard to explain but there is a special feeling of romantic tranquillity around this particular beach. Perhaps is has something to do with the vivid white sand contrasting with the jet-black rocks which define the boundaries of the various sections of beach? Perhaps it’s the clear water in the lagoon and the closeness of the outer reef at this point on the coast? Perhaps it has something to do with the beautiful tropical forest fringing the sand and the sea? The answer is that it’s the way all these features uniquely combine at this intimate location which makes it so special. Now that Return to Paradise Beach Resort is bedded in, operating well and enjoying great reviews, you too can experience the special qualities of this impressive place.

Room Categories
Garden View Rooms - C:
These rooms are the third and back room of the-interconnected 3 Bedroom Beachfront Villas.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children aged up to 12 years
Existing Bedding: 1 King or Queen Bed and 1 Single Bed.
Additional Bedding: A Single Rollaway Bed or cot may be added when children are sharing with adults.
Garden View Rooms:
Garden View Rooms are located in four, 2-level triplex buildings with 3 rooms on the ground floor and 3 rooms on the first floor and all face towards the beach and have garden views. All are open-plan studio style, a generous 40m2 in area. Each has a private furnished patio or balcony and each room feature marble floors throughout and a modern ensuite bathroom. First floor rooms are accessed by stairs.
Interconnecting rooms may be requested.
Some Garden View Rooms are located in a stand-alone block within the Villa category.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children aged up to 12 years
Existing Bedding: 1 King or Queen Bed and 1 Single Bed.
Additional Bedding: A Single Rollaway Bed or cot may be added when children are sharing with adults.
Beachfront Rooms:
Located approximately 25 metres from the sea in single storey blocks - mostly with 2 units to a block. Beachfront Rooms are generous-size open plan studios and feature marble floors throughout. A spacious en-suite bathroom with beautiful natural rock walls and a modern double vanity and walk-in shower. Each Beachfront Room has a nice big furnished veranda overlooking the beach and can be interconnected with the next-door room, a feature which makes adjoining Beachfront Rooms ideal for a bigger family or groups of friends travelling together.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 Adults or 2 Adults and 1 Child aged up to 12 years
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed which can be split into 2 King Single Beds.
Additional Bedding: A Single Rollaway Bed or a cot may be added.
Beachfront Suite Rooms:
A Beautiful One-Bedroom Suite with a separate lounge/dining area. The front door opens directly to the powder-white sand of Return To Paradise Beach. The Suite is a generous size and features a private veranda with seating, a lounge/kitchenette and a separate bedroom.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children aged up to 12 years
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed and a Single Divan Bed.
Additional Bedding: A Single Rollaway Bed or a cot may be added for the second child.
The Maeva (Honeymoon) Suite:
Beachfront in a very romantic setting of vivid white sand framed by jet-black rocks – a superb and spacious suite in which, every person entering for the first time, is totally bowled over by the location and the beauty. The marble-tiled luxury bedroom leads to a beautiful separate lounge and private furnished veranda. The bathroom is magnificent with natural stone walls, a (cold water) plunge pool, a large separate shower and double vanity.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed
Additional Bedding: No additional bedding accommodated.
Two-Bedroom Garden Villas:
Two-Bedroom Beachfront Villas:
At the southern end of Return To Paradise Beach, a short stroll to the Resort’s Main Pool and Beach Shack Bar. Garden Villas offer views of the tropical gardens and Beachfront Villas open directly to the beautiful white-sand of Return To Paradise Beach. All Villas offer 2 separate ensuite bedrooms plus a lounge/kitchenette and private veranda with furnished patios. The bedrooms as well as the lounge are air-conditioned.
Maximum Occupancy: 6 Adults or 4 Adults and 2 children, 3 Adults and 3 Children or 2 Adults and 4 Children
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed in both bedrooms, each of which may be split into 2 Single Beds as required.
Additional Bedding: Up to 2 Single Rollaway Beds or cots may be added (1 in each bedroom).
Three- Bedroom Garden Villas:

Maximum Occupancy: 9 Adults or 6 Adults and 3 Children.
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed in each bedroom, each of which may be split into 2 Single Beds as required.
Additional Bedding: A Single Rollaway Bed or cot may be added to each bedroom.
Getting To and From Return to Paradise Resort & Spa
Return to Paradise meets all arriving guests at Samoa’s International Airport and provides transfers to and from The Resort. We will arrange and include the cost of airport transfers in package arrangements as required/agreed.
Return to Paradise is handily located on Upolu's South Coast only 25 minutes from Faleolo Airport and 45 minutes across the island from Apia.
Kids Stay Free
Up to 2 children aged 12 years and younger stay free when sharing a room with adults and utilising existing bedding.
Check-in/Check-out
Check in time is 2:00pm
Check out time is 11:00am
Early Arrivals
Guests arriving between 6:00am and 2:00pm may guarantee immediate occupation of their accommodation by booking an early check-in in advance of arrival and paying for the night prior to arrival.
Late Departures
Late check-out between 11:00am and 6:00pm may be arranged when guests are in-house and if a late check-out is available, an additional charge ispayable direct to the resort. Check-out after 6:00pm is charged at the full rate for an additional night.
