OUR Thoughts on Norfolk Holiday Apartments
148 Taylors Road, Norfolk Island
This AAA rated 3½ Star (self-catering) property has a lot going for it in its location and facilities.  Norfolk Holiday Apartments is accessed approximately 200 metres down a country lane which turns off Taylors Road just beside Channers On Norfolk and overlooks a quiet rural valley.  The outlook epitomises Norfolk Island; the valley which runs down to the Kingston Area, the beautiful Norfolk Island Pines dotted here and there, the green pastures, the picturesque gardens and Mt Pitt off to one side. All this adds to the peace and tranquillity of the place.

Their apartments are very well organised in that there are no stairs to climb to get up to those apartments which, on first impression, appear to be in a two-level building. The entrance to every apartment is directly off the ground level. The ground rises up behind the raised apartments to give ground level access. All accommodation is on a single level. Every apartment is very spacious and every room is well furnished.  The kitchens are “real” kitchens with a decent fridge, an oven and cook top and are fully stocked with appliances, crockery and cutlery – no problem cooking a family meal in these kitchens.

The BBQ area at Norfolk Holiday Apartments is great.  It’s a covered area which makes it suitable for BBQs in all weathers. The BBQ area includes a kitchen and bathroom too. 

We can provide you with a price which includes a rental car (you pay the daily insurance direct to the car company) or a cheaper price for an apartment only and no car.  This is a property where you could “stay at home” and walk to and from town. You may prefer to enjoy the sights of Norfolk Island by taking one or more of the many tours on offer and perhaps rent a car on the odd day only once you are there; with Norfolk Holiday Apartments the choice is yours.

Your Accommodation Options
The 12 apartments at Norfolk Holiday Apartments are either One Bedroom or Two Bedroom Apartments, mainly in 2 level blocks. Every bedroom has a corresponding bathroom with shower. The ground floor apartments have a furnished patio and pleasant rural views over the valley and towards the mountain.  The raised apartments also enjoy valley and mountain views, some can even have a peep of Phillip Island in the distance, but this depends on the amount of foliage on the trees in the valley. Raised apartments have a pleasant furnished balcony.

The 4 Two Bedroom Apartments are great for families or for those couples who prefer separate bedrooms. Each bedroom opens off the living room and each is a similar size and layout which makes them especially good for 2 couples travelling together.  At Norfolk Holiday Apartments when 2 couples share a Two Bedroom Apartment, one couple doesn’t get the feeling that they are relegated to the “kids’ room!”

Maximum Occupancy: 2 guests and a baby in a cot
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed or 2 Single Beds
Additional Bedding: A baby cot can be added if required.

Bullet Two Bedroom Apartments:
2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Maximum Occupancy:  5 guests.
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed or 2 Single Beds in both bedrooms.
Additional Bedding: A Single Bed can be added to one bedroom.

Getting To and From Norfolk Holiday Apartments 
We will include return airport transfers in your holiday package as required/agreed. This property is handy to town and it is definitely a walkable distance to the shops etc.  However, as it is located down a gently sloping lane into a quiet valley, you would probably decide to take your car if going out in the evenings.

If driving, you will be a three minute drive away from beautiful Emily Bay and the historic Kingston area on one side, with shops, restaurants and tour companies just a minute away on the other.

Kids’ Policy
One child under 2 years of age at time of arrival, sharing an apartment with parents, is accommodated free of charge. Cots and highchairs are provided free of charge.

Check in time is 12:00 noon
Check out time is 9:00am
A Transit Lounge with bathroom is available for guests whose flights do not fit in with normal check-in or check-out times.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing
Bullet Cancellations made within 14 days of scheduled arrival
       incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the cost
      of the accommodation booked.
Bullet Bookings which fail to show on scheduled arrival date
      are treated as cancellations and charged accordingly
