BLUE LAGOON CRUISES
Cruises from Port Denarau to Fiji’s Yasawa Islands.

Our Thoughts on Blue Lagoon Cruises.
Blue Lagoon Cruises have been providing memorable cruises in Fiji successfully for over 60 years, so they are obviously doing something right!   Their ships are custom-built for cruising in Fiji waters and their current ship “Fiji Princess” is state-of-the-art.  Blue Lagoon Cruises rate “Fiji Princess” as 4 Star and we agree, although we think 4 Star is a conservative rating (Blue Lagoon Cruises are constantly up-grading their product) – this is a marvellous little boutique ship cruising to wonderful places and staffed by great people. “Fiji Princess” carries a maximum of 68 passengers, so you never feel lost in the crowd.

Blue Lagoon Cruises operate a 3 day/3 night cruise, a 4 day/4 night cruise and a 7 day/7 night cruise from Port Denarau each week.

Taking a Blue Lagoon Cruise as part of a Honeymoon in Fiji is a perfect way to celebrate a wedding.  Our Specialists can advise on Special Honeymoon Packages.  Or, how about considering a Wedding on a Blue Lagoon Cruise?  Bring your Wedding Guests with you and get married on the cruise ship.  Another popular option is to have the Wedding Ceremony on the picturesque white-sand beach at Blue Lagoon's Private Island at sunset.  Our Specialists can assist you to make this happen.

On 3 days cruises “Fiji Princess” departs Port Denarau and passengers return to Port Denarau on the company’s fast catamaran launch “Cheetah” from the Sacred Isles where “Fiji Princess” awaits the arrival of her 4 night cruise passengers.  The 4 night cruise passengers start their cruise on board “Cheetah” at Port Denarau, joining “Fiji Princess” at the Sacred Isles, cruising back to Port Denarau on “Fiji Princess at the conclusion of the cruise. Transit time on “Cheetah” between Port Denarau and the rendezvous point with “Fiji Princess” is approximately 75 minutes. Having the fast catamaran ferry service between Port Denarau and the Sacred Isles is a huge benefit for passengers on 3 and 4 day cruises as it provides maximum time out in the beautiful Yasawa Islands. Passengers on the 7 night cruise spend the entire cruise on “Fiji Princess” Port Denarau to Port Denarau. (See individual itineraries below for full details).

Blue Lagoon Cruises are normally restricted to guests aged 14 years and over, however, facing a big demand from past guests, Blue Lagoon Cruises have added "Family Cruise" departure dates which generally coincide with Australasian School Holidays. See details under "Kids' Policy" below.

Do try to fit in a Blue Lagoon Cruise to your Fiji holiday itinerary. The inclusion of a Blue Lagoon Cruise, no matter whether it’s a short or longer duration cruise itinerary, adds a wonderful highlight to any holiday in Fiji.

What Blue lagoon Cruises Say About Themselves:
“Imagine waking every morning surrounded by sparkling blue oceans, islands fringed with gently waving palms and empty, unspoilt beaches of pure white sand. Welcome to boutique cruising in the idyllic South Seas. Relax into an easy rhythm on board your vessel. Soak up the sun, swim or snorkel in the pristine waters. Or join a trip to a remote Fijian village and experience true South Seas hospitality. The choice is yours on our Fiji Cruises….

For a real Fiji vacation where you can experience the stunning beauty and pristine waters of Fiji's many islands, come cruising with Blue Lagoon Cruises. The chain of islands situated 40km north-west from Nadi called the Yasawa Islands are renowned for their tranquil lagoons and picturesque beaches. The islands stretch for almost 90 km up to the 'must see' region, 'The Blue Lagoon'. The islands' remoteness ensures they retain their tranquillity and traditional charm.

The Yasawa Islands offer a daily changing vista with a range of coral cays, lagoons, turquoise seas, pure white beaches and spectacular bays. Your ship, Fiji Princess gets you in nice and close to the beaches, often tying off from a coconut tree on the beach!

A variety of itineraries allow island explorations, beach activities, visits to remote Fijian villages and swimming and snorkelling in some of the most pristine waters in Oceania.

Our Fiji Princess offers a mix of beautifully furnished saloons, outdoor lounging areas, sundecks with cocktail bars and private areas for those looking for a romantic getaway. The Spa offers relaxation and indulgence. The beauty therapists provide a range of services to rejuvenate and pamper you.

Our Crew’s reputation is world-renowned, ensuring that you have a totally relaxing and enjoyable holiday while on board, whether it is sunset cocktails enjoyed with traditional music as you are served hors d’oeuvres, or the three main meals with morning and afternoon teas. Our service concludes only at day’s end, when you decide to retire to watch a movie or simply relax in the comfort of your private cabin.

Our chefs provide a variety of menus. These include à la carte meals, exotic barbecues, magnificent smorgasbords and freshly made omelettes cooked to your personal taste every morning. Your taste buds will be rewarded by imaginative menus and special dining experiences. Blue Lagoon Cruise chefs create some of the finest cuisine that Fiji has to offer, using only the best and freshest local produce.

Our cruises include accommodation with private ensuite facilities, all meals and cruise activities. Cruise activities include traditional Fijian entertainment, village visits, coral viewing, beach party, and much more.

No island holiday would be complete without a Blue Lagoon Cruise to see the real Fiji!

Many of our passengers ask us what items they can bring to give away to the village children.  School supplies (pens, pencils, crayons, drawing / colouring books, notepads and the like) are always most welcome as are sports items such as rugby and soccer balls.  Items of clothing (T Shirts etc) are also well received.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard to experience the magic of Fiji you can only discover by sea....”.
