We had a marvellous time. Niue is as unspoilt as expected, everyone is marvellously friendly, and weather was great, it was just a little rain overnight. We saw whales and dolphins from the Scenice Matavai resort, my wife swam with whales and took some marvellous pictures. We were well prepared, and one week was good to experience Niue for the first time. We’ll know what to do differently next time.

The booklet you sent was most useful, but obviously things move on and there are new editions of the booklet. Some of the food outlets had closed, and the new Swanson’s Supermarket next to the airport is a great addition. The main thing was the money, which was much easier than predicted. There were suggestions that cash would be needed in certain establishments, but 99% of the places we went took NZ EFTPOS, so there wasn’t a need for the cash that we took with us.  

Thanks for your organisation, it was all very efficient.  An assessment of a good holiday destination includes, would we go back?  And the answer is definitely yes!
