JUNE 2015

Hi Hanisha,

I have done a bit of pacific travelling including Fiji and Hawaii but its pretty tough to beat Aitutaki as a place to go. In short Raro was nice but the star of the show was Aitutaki. You hear people call a place paradise…..in Aitutaki’s case that is exactly what it is!

The Aitutaki Village was perfect for us as a family. Its not 5 star but somehow seems to match perfectly with the surrounds and the pace of life there……..which is very relaxed. The staff there were great! The lagoon there was just perfect for the kids as they swam, kayaked and paddle boarded all day! We did the Cultural tour which was very enjoyable and the lagoon cruise was just stunning…….one of the best days anyone could have anywhere I reckon! Combine that with hiring scooters and exploring the island, snorkelling, dining at a wide range of places (food was just amazing – yellow fin tuna everywhere!!) and the great weather all helped to create an awesome experience.

So thanks again for your help with this Hanisha. We will be definitely getting back there at some stage. It’s a pretty unique spot Aitutaki. Pretty untouched but just enough modern touches to make it a fantastic place to go.

Cheers
Michael
