Our Thoughts on Aggie Grey’s Lagoon, Beach Resort & Spa
Just 5 minutes drive from Samoa’s Faleolo International Airport, 45 minutes drive into Apia and a 20-30 minute walk to Mulifanua Wharf (for ferries to and from Savaii) this 4 star rated family resort is a great base for a Samoa holiday.
The 140 rooms are in 6 two-storey blocks, 3 of which are on each side of the central hotel facility, so no one is too far away from the restaurants etc. The Resort is virtually surrounded by a very good golf course. Every room has a view out over the lagoon and ocean and catches both the sunrise and the sunsets. They have a stunning big swimming pool including kids shallow pool, complete with adults swim-up bar and plenty of sun-loungers. The professionally run Dolphin Kids Club is open daily 9.00am to 5.00pm. The two stretches of white-sand beach out front are liberally scattered with thatched sun shelters. The sea bed in this part of the coast is not known for having great marine life, but there is still pleasant snorkelling to be enjoyed.
A well-equipped gym and the beautiful spa round out the hotel’s features, and of course, the 5 different restaurants provide a welcome range of dining options. The closest outside restaurants are in Apia, 45 minutes drive away, so having 5 restaurants on-site provides plenty of choice for lunch and dinner. The Apolima Fale restaurant serves breakfast and lunch and hosts the spectacular Fia Fia Night on Fridays. The South Pacific Restaurant & Courtyard is open for lunch and dinner; the lovely courtyard with its big yellow sun umbrellas affords diners great views of the ocean and the island of Savaii in the distance. Asian-inpired Tekali Restaurant is air-conditioned and being on the first floor provides great views – Tekali is open for dinner daily except Sunday. Air-conditioned Mahi Mahi Restaurant serves Italian cuisine and is open daily except Sunday for dinner and finally, the alfresco Coconut Grove Pizzeria is open for dinner daily except Sunday for wood-fired pizza.
We like the complimentary shuttle service into Apia (daily except Sunday) which drops you at Aggie Grey’s Hotel in Apia, where you can base yourself while you enjoy the sights of Apia. If you are in Apia at high tide, wander down to the Palolo Deep, where the snorkelling is excellent.
The Resort is very close to the International Airport, but any noise from the few incoming or outgoing aircraft is not too intrusive.
Your Accommodation Options
Currently all the accommodation at Aggie's Lagoon is the same category - Deluxe Ocean View. The rooms are in 2-storey blocks, are spacious and airconditioned. There are 8 sets of interconnecting rooms. The ground floors open directly on to a lawn. The first floor rooms have a wider view; there are no lifts.

Existing Bedding Configuration: 1 Queen & 1 Single
Additional Bedding: 1 Rollaway or Cot
The Resort is currently (Nov 2011) constructing 20 Garden Fales set in the garden area off the back of the Hotel Blocks. Each Garden Fale has its own private spa pool on a small deck outside the Fale and features an open plan room with small sitting area, 1 Queen & 1 Single Bed, and separate bathroom with a large cleopatra bath with rain shower overhead.

Transfer from Faleolo International Airport to Aggie Grey's Lagoon, Beach Resort & Spa by coach or private vehicle.
Kids Policy
Children under 12 years stay free when sharing the same room as adults, maximum 2 children per room.
Children under 12 years eat free at a restaurant nominated by the Resort and off a selected menu or buffet when accompanied by adults.
Children from 3-12 years play free under supervision at the Dolphins Kids Club between the hours of 9am and 5pm. This does not include swimming activities, refreshments or supervised meals.

The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however, the Hotel standard times and rates are as follows:

Check Out Time: 11.00am
Late check out until 6pm - special rate applies.
Cancellation Policy
 All cancellations must be made in writing.
If cancellations are effected within 7 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to one night’s accommodation will be levied.
