Our Thoughts on Seabreeze Resort
Paradise Cove has great cultural importance in Samoan folklore and what a magnificent place it is. On the picturesque south coast of Upolu there are many beautiful beaches and many very special natural attractions both on the coast and in the coastal hinterland; Paradise Cove stands out amongst the best of them. The cove itself is quite small. It’s a “U” shaped cove with a small, sandy beach at the base, natural rock and tropical forest on each side and an opening to the lagoon with its protecting reef and the ocean beyond. There are small islands dotting the lagoon outside the cove opening. All these natural features have provided a superb location for an intimate, quality holiday resort.
Seabreeze Resort was completely rebuilt and enhanced in 2010/2011 and has reopened with 11 villas and suites, a new restaurant and bar complex and the welcome addition of a resort swimming pool to complete the picture. Seabreeze Resort is around 60 minutes drive from Apia and 90 minutes from the International Airport and within easy walking distance of Aufaga and Vavau villages and beaches. Seabreeze faces towards the south capturing the cooling south-easterly breezes and the beautiful sunsets over the lagoon.
Most of the resort villas and suites cluster around the new swimming pool on the flat land above the beach at the base of the cove. The beach and lagoon are accessed by a few stone steps beside the pool. The excellent Waterfront Restaurant and Bar, the Private Dining Pavilion and the Cbreeza Pizzeria are all located right on the waterfront along the western arm of the cove. The wonderful Honeymoon Pointhouse is located on the point of the eastern arm of the cove. To complete the resort facilities Paulini’s Pool Bar serves simple starters, salads, sandwiches, burgers, freezing cold smoothies, beers, wines, spirits and cocktails.
Seabreeze resort is ideal for those seeking a relaxing holiday break. For those wanting to be more active, there are glass-bottom kayaks and snorkel gear is provided. There is an intermittent surf break on the reef off Paradise Cove and the Resort owners are happy to organise trips to any of the surfing spots on the south coast and beyond. Our Specialists can organise a rental car in advance if you want to explore the Island. The resort is 5 minutes drive to the famous Tosua’s Trench, 20 minutes from the beaches of Lalomanu and 60 minutes away from Apia via the cross island road with all its attractions.

Your Accommodation Options
Nearing the end of the 90 minute drive from the airport, your driver will turn off the Main South Coast Road on to a private road leading down to Paradise Cove and the Seabreeze Resort. As you arrive, the accommodation immediately ahead of you and beside the beachfront swimming pool is the 5 Ocean View Villas. Next along are the 2 Reef View Villas and the Ocean View Suite. The 2 beautiful Beachfront Villas are situated at the eastern end of the bay, resting on the sea wall, with cantilevered decks and 180 degree views of the lagoon and furthest away, right on the eastern point of the cove, is the marvellous Honeymoon Pointhouse, an exclusive villa nestled into the point right above the Ocean on a rock buttress offering extensive views of the resort, bay, reef and coastline. All accommodation has quality appointments and furnishings. Flow-through ventilation captures the breezes and ceiling fans and air-conditioning ensures comfort. Seabreeze has a minimum 2 nights consecutive stay policy – you’ll want more than 2 nights here!

 Ocean View Villas
Overlooking the pool with views of the lagoon, Ocean View Villas are duplex (joined) units, each one featuring a large deck and thatched pavilion out front. In addition to outdoor furniture there is a welcome feature, a double hammock slung under cover in the pavilion. Villas are light and modern with a gentle Samoan influence. Lava rock from the surrounding cliffs has been incorporated with floor to ceiling glass panels to make a stunning modern bathroom.

Reef View Villas
A little bigger, these Villas are wheelchair friendly and have stunning Pool, Reef & Surf Views. Reef View Villas are open-plan and are particularly designed for 3 people requiring separate beds. A feature lava rock bathroom and private toilet with disabled facilities complete the picture. Like the Ocean View Villas, Reef View Villas have a nice big deck and pavilion out front and the double hammock under the thatched pavilion.

Ocean View Suite
The One Bedroom Luxury Ocean View Suite has 2 separate sleeping areas which are separated by mahogany louvre doors. There is a King double bed and a foldaway sofa bed in the main living area and another King double bed in the screened off separate bedroom. There is one beautiful, modern bathroom. The Ocean View Suite is ideal for couples seeking extra space or families or travelling friends that enjoy staying together. Two outdoor living areas are available – one an elevated balcony with a fully furnished Pavilion & double hammock, the other a private tropical courtyard.

Beachfront Villas
Located further along to the side of the pool at the eastern end of the bay, resting on the sea wall. At high tide, the sea laps the rocks under the cantilevered deck which provides 180 degree views of the lagoon. Each stand-alone villa has a spacious private courtyard which features a daybed and double hammock in addition to the waterfront deck. Features are the magnificent view, the private dressing room, the wonderful bathroom and 2 hot and cold showers; one shower is inside and the other outside in the high-walled courtyard.

Honeymoon Pointhouse
“A Villa with a View” nestled into the cliffs right above the Ocean on a rock buttress, boasting the best views of the resort, bay & coastline is this most exclusive Villa. The Honeymoon Pointhouse (A clever take on the word “penthouse” isn’t it) is located on the eastern promontory point of Paradise Cove a short distance away from the Beachfront Villas. Any couple (not just honeymooners) would find this villa and its location a terrific spot for a holiday.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing.
If cancellations are effected within 30 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of total accommodation will be levied.
