We wanted to provide accommodation for them to enjoy a stay by the waters of Lalomanu and to enjoy the beautiful scenic views from the beach. Our second vision was a dream to make this an investment for the future of our children, family and to help support our church and village community.
Litia Sini Beach Resort is located on the tranquil South Coast of Upolu Island, Samoa. The white sand beach and lagoon really do look like the travel brochures. Sea breezes temper the near constant tropical temperatures and the warm sea water encourages all day/every day swimming.
Our beach front fales are situated above the beautiful white sandy beach, only steps to the sea. They are constructed in a modern yet traditional Samoan style to ensure coolness inside, whilst remaining open to the fantastic ocean views. Our Thoughts on Litia Sini Beach Resort
Upolu Island’s south coast is famous for wonderful beaches, romantic seascapes, superb, natural surroundings and exceptionally hospitable people. Lalomanu Beach is one of the best remote locations on the entire Upolu South Coast.
Originally, Litia’s comprised more rustic traditional Samoan fales built right on the beach, in which some guests slept in the old-style way; on a mattress on the floor. Even today, some Samoan families still build traditional beach fales for family beach breaks and visitors to Samoa will see these on many beaches. Litia’s place was entirely rebuilt in 2010 on the original site (but on raised ground around 3 metres above the beach), and now comprises 16 modern, enclosed and private, but still traditional-style fales and a big new open-plan dining room and bar fale with a beautiful veranda, where guests mingle over meals and new friendships are made . Breakfast and dinner is included in the tariff. Together with the new bungalow-style fales and the new dining fale, there are two brand new modern communal bathroom blocks.
It’s quite difficult to categorise this place. The closest comparison we can make is to a cabin or modern beach batch, shack or crib in a beachfront camping ground, and all with a somewhat traditional Samoan flavour. Of course, there is no camping at Litia’s but the comparison is still valid.
At Litia’s Beach Resort the beach setting really is superb, the sunrise and the sunsets are breathtaking, the water of the lagoon really does teem with fish and does sparkle in the sun and the south-easterly trade winds do provide a cooling breeze in the evenings. Sure, there are great beach locations elsewhere in the world, but what makes Litia’s such a wonderful holiday spot is not only the exceptionally beautiful beach location but also the experience of the unique Samoan lifestyle and Samoan village hospitality.
Litia’s Beach Resort is located on Lalomanu Beach, which is at the eastern most point on the south coast where the Main South Coast Road turns back towards the north. It is around an hour drive from Apia and, depending on the route taken, around an hour and a half from the International Airport at Faleolo. Try to be there on Friday night, that’s the fia fia night. You will more than likely strike a fia fia night somewhere during your visit to Samoa but this one is really good fun. You’ll be up dancing along before you know it!
In the heat of the day there are canvas shades erected on the beach and for more active guests, kayaks and snorkelling gear are available for hire.
Your Accommodation Options
There is a total of 16 fales at Litia Sini Beach Resort and all have an ocean view. Guests in the Beachfront Oceanview Fales enjoy uninterrupted views of the beach, lagoon, reef and ocean from a covered veranda. Two of the Beachfront Oceanview Fales are designated “Family Fales.” The Superior Oceanview Fales are in a row behind the Beachfront Fales, and are placed so that guests have a view of the lagoon from the veranda, but this is a view framed on each side by fales in front.
All beachfront fales are the traditional Samoan oval shape (Superior are square) with wood shingle roofs; all have plenty of room, excellent beds, louvered windows for ventilation and mosquito netting over the beds. Bathroom facilities are in two communal bathroom blocks which are kept meticulously clean. The fales are built sitting on poles on the raised land approximately 3 metres above the beach. Direct access to the beach is via around 10 steps in the sloping, natural stone wall that backs the beach.

 Superior Oceanview Fales
Located in the Second Row, behind the Beachfront Fales, each one has a veranda from which there is a view of the lagoon between the fales on front. Existing bedding is 1 double bed and one single divan bed. Maximum occupancy is 3.
Beachfront Oceanview Fales
Located immediately above the beach with a veranda affording wonderful views. Existing bedding is 1 double bed and one single divan bed. Maximum occupancy is 3.
Beachfront Oceanview Family Fales
Two Beachfront Oceanview Fales with existing bedding of 1 double bed and 3 single beds. Maximum occupancy is 5 people

Transfer from Faleolo International Airport to Litia Sini Beach Resort by coach or private vehicle.
Kids Policy
Children of all ages are welcome.
Children aged under 3 years stay free of charge.
There is a sliding scale of charges for children aged 3-5, 6-9 and 10-11 years.

The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however, the Hotel standard times and rates are as follows:

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing.
If cancellations are effected within 42 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of total accommodation will be levied.
