OUR Thoughts on Villa Tiarenui, Maharepa, Moorea
A beautiful, new 4-bedroom house on the eastern point of Moorea’s north coast, handy to shopping, food outlets, a market, a supermarket, and the island’s 18-hole golf course. The house is set at the back of the 5,000m2 section giving privacy from the neighbouring properties and guests enjoy a beautiful vista from the house and deck, of the wide tropical lawn and gardens to the beach and the colourful, shallow lagoon beyond.  The house is contemporary in style with the living rooms and 3 of the bedrooms on the ground floor; the living rooms flow out on to a wide timber deck where 2 motorised extendable awnings create a shaded veranda when required.  A fourth bedroom is located on the upper level. The deck is furnished with an outdoor lounge suite, several sun loungers and a 6-seat outdoor dining setting.

Sleeping 11 guests (8 adults and up to 3 children), this house would suit a wide range of holiday accommodation needs.  Two of the three ground floor bedrooms share a bathroom, while the third ground floor bedroom, which is suitable for a person or couple with accessible needs, has a private ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower.  The fourth bedroom on the upper level is huge and rather like an open-plan private suite, with its ensuite bathroom, large main sleeping area and a fold-out sofa bed plus a child-size single bed in a semi-private alcove. 

The bedroom arrangements are ideal for up to 3 couples or 3 families sharing, or for a group of friends, and would be a fantastic option for 2 family groups sharing with grandparents or child minders.

Guests with children will love the size of the section and the kids will play happily out on the lawn and around the bigger tropical trees (one with a swing attached from an overhanging branch).  The lagoon is shallow at this point on the north coast. 

The whole house is air-conditioned and wifi (free) is available throughout.

The Maharepa area of Moorea is on the northern coast of the island – a long stretch of coastline featuring beautiful beaches and small bays punctuated near the centre of the coast by a large inlet known as Cook’s Bay.  Many of Moorea’s world-class resorts are found along the northern coast, however, the majority of these are located further towards the western end whereas Maharepa is at the eastern end, very handy to the Moorea’s golf course.  Maharepa is a desirable residential area and many of the high-quality homes there are owned by residents of Papeete (on the island of Tahiti) which makes them available to be enjoyed by international visitors when the owners are not using them for personal holidays.  In Maharepa, you find a number of cafés and markets, some of which are walking distance from Villa Tiarenui, but we do recommend you have us organise a rental vehicle for you to give you easy access to the golf course as well as the Champion Supermarket which is approximately 3km away along the northern coast.

Manava Beach Resort & Spa is only a couple of minutes by car or an easy thirty-minute walk away.

Minimum stay requirements
Villa Tiarenui requires a minimum 2 nights stay year- round, with the exception of any stays which include 22 December to 03 January when the minimum stay requirement is 5 nights

"Built in 2018, Villa Tiarenui is located north-east of the island of Moorea in the commune of Maharepa, French Polynesia. This is a true paradise for families or groups of friends in search of a Polynesian escape without forgetting their comfort.

Hidden in the heart of a leafy suburb by the sea, Villa Tiarenui features a very large plot of over 5000 m², private and sheltered from neighboring houses, the villa also has an electric gate. The front of the property is bordered by a lagoon with turquoise blue waters opening with a pass to the ocean. The Golf Lake Canal runs along the right-hand side of the property.

The very attentive owners have taken care to provide equipment to ensure the success of their guests’ stay. Two bikes are available, beach games, snorkel masks and gas barbecue. The shallow lagoon at the edge of the property is ideal for young children who will also enjoy the white sand beach. A little further away for the more adventurous, the lagoon offers a magnificent coral garden with a multicolored fish. 

The owners also go to some lengths to control insects.  However, as is the case with all tropical beachfront properties in the islands, you may still encounter some of these harmless natives despite the owners’ efforts to maintain a high level of control.”

Local accommodation taxes and a mandatory departure cleaning fee is payable at this property.  All taxes and the cleaning fee will be included in our arrangements and become part of the full holiday package price.

Villa Tiarenui has 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and a suite on the first floor. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and are equipped with a TV.  Two bedrooms offer lagoon views, the third bedroom has garden views.
Bedroom One:
Ground floor, bathroom with shower is shared with Bedroom Two
Maximum occupancy is 2 guests, in 1 Queen Bed.

Bedroom Two:
Ground floor, shared bathroom with Bedroom One;
Maximum occupancy is 2 guests in 2 Single Beds

Bedroom Three:
Ground floor with a private accessible ensuite bathroom with walk/roll-in shower.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 guests in 1 Queen Bed.

Bedroom Four:
First floor Suite with private ensuite bathroom
Existing Bedding:
1 Queen Bed
1 double-bed size fold-out sofa
1 child-size Single Bed

Entire Villa:
Maximum occupancy 8 adults and up to 3 children (11 total)

Getting to and from Villa Tiarenui
Guests are met at Moorea Airport or the Ferry Terminal by a representative of the home’s letting agent and either driven the 5-minute transfer to Villa Tiarenui.  We recommend that you arrange for us to organise a rental vehicle (the cost of which can be included in your holiday package arrangements) for the length of your stay as there is no reliable public transport on Moorea and you really don’t get to experience the full vibe of Moorea while enjoying the convenience of a Holiday Home stay if you are not mobile.  Rental vehicles may be picked up at the ferry terminal and once you have your vehicle, the letting agent will show you the way to Villa Tiarenui, open the house and give you a guide of the services and facilities available.

Two bicycles (cost included in the tariff) are available for guest use.
Kids Policy
The Villa provides a family-friendly environment which includes a kids’ play equipment, a swing on the tropical tree out front and direct access to the beach and the sheltered, shallow lagoon.

Property Booking & Cancellation Policies
To confirm a booking a 30% deposit is required once the
      property has confirmed space is available.

      be paid in full once the property has confirmed space

Bullet All cancellations must be made in writing
Bullet Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to check-in
      date incur a cancellation fee of 7,160CFP.
Bullet Cancellations made between 30 and 45 days of scheduled
     arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to 30% of the cost
     of services booked.
Bullet Cancellations made within 30 days of scheduled arrival
      incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the cost of
      services booked.
Bullet No Shows are treated as cancellations and charged
