OUR Thoughts on Villa Anuanua, Moorea
In what was originally Legends Resort Moorea and is now known as “Legends Residence”, we offer 2 exceptional Holiday Home Villas – one of which is Villa Anuanua.
This modern 120m2 2-bedroom villa is ideal for a couple or a small family. It is a little smaller than other villas we offer at Legends Residence but has a great range of facilities and is well-priced. Both bedrooms share the single bathroom. The open-plan living room and kitchen open to a nice big private deck which faces west towards the mountains. The pleasant deck features a small jacuzzi-style pool, various sun loungers and deck chairs, and a roofed area in one corner under which there is an outdoor table and seating for 4. From the front of the deck there is a side-on view over the neighbouring villas towards the sea.
While the original restaurant at Legends is no longer open, the beautiful horizon swimming pool, tennis court and gym are still in operation and available for all residents and their guests to use and, especially during the days, you will often find that you are the only people using these facilities. Many villa owners, when not using their properties themselves, let their villas individually as holiday homes.
Spread across 17 acres of gated land, Legends Residence comprises 47 spacious individual villas. The property offers wonderful views, and depending on their location within the complex, individual villas may provide views of Moorea’s rugged central mountains or of the lagoon and the coastal plain. In the vicinity of Legends Residence and the small locally-owned resorts you will find an interesting array of local restaurants, waterfront residential houses and Le Petit Village – the mini commercial centre for this region of Moorea.

Villa Anuanua has a minimum 2 nights stay policy year- round, with the exception of any stays which include 22 December to 03 January when the minimum stay requirement is 5 nights

Recently closed, the InterContinental Moorea Resort and Spa is within easy walking distance of the entrance gate to Legends Residence.

Bedroom 1:
The air-conditioned master bedroom, faces towards a small garden.
Maximum occupancy is 2 guests, in 1 Queen Bed.
Bedroom 2:
The second (air-conditioned) bedroom also looks out towards the tropical garden.
Maximum occupancy is 2 guests, in 2 Single Beds.

Getting to and from Villa Anuanua
Travelling from Papeete, guests are met at Moorea Airport or the Ferry Terminal by a representative of the home’s letting agent and either driven the 40-minute transfer to Villa Anuanua, (30-minutes from Moorea’s airport) or, if a rental vehicle has been included in your package arrangements, the letting agent will show you the way to Villa Anuanua, open the house and give you a guide of the services and facilities available.
We thoroughly recommend that you do arrange for us to organise a rental vehicle for the length of your stay as there is no reliable public transport on Moorea and you really don’t get to experience the full vibe of Moorea while enjoying the convenience of a Holiday Home stay if you are not fully mobile. Rental vehicles may be picked up and dropped off at the ferry terminal.

Property Booking & Cancellation Policies
To confirm a booking a 30% deposit is required once the
property has confirmed space is available.
Bookings made within 30 days of scheduled arrival must
be paid in full once the property has confirmed space

All cancellations must be made in writing
Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to check-in
date incur a cancellation fee of 7,160CFP.
Cancellations made between 30 and 45 days of scheduled
arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to 30% of the cost
of services booked.
Cancellations made within 30 days of scheduled arrival
incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the cost of
services booked.
No Shows are treated as cancellations and charged
accordingly.
