Sofitel Tahiti Maeva Beach Resort is located on the west coast of Tahiti, on a charming beach surrounded by tropical gardens. The resort features 216 stylish, light filled rooms, each with a private balcony and many with spectacular views over the mountains or across the lagoon toward the island of Moorea. Facilities include two excellent restaurants, a bar, two tennis courts, a golf driving range and a freshwater swimming pool.

Handy to the airport and positioned on the only natural white sand beach on Tahiti, the resort offers views of Moorea and colourful design inspired by French impressionist, Gaugin. Dine at Sakura, the region's most famous teppanyaki restaurant.

Sofitel Tahiti Maeva Beach Resort has a great location very handy to Faa'a International Airport. Many visitors to Tahiti only use this hotel as a transit hotel arriving at night and leaving again early the next morning and that can be a shame, as this hotel does have some very appealing features for a longer stay. The hotel comprises a single 7 storey block while it is the restaurants, the gardens, the pool and the beach that are aits features. The expansive lans and gardens are beautiful; they lead you away from the hotel block down to the wet-edge pool which is right beside the beach and from which there are spectacular views of the lagoon with Moorea in the distance.

Your Room Options
Of the 216 rooms, approximately half are located on the side of the hotel facing inland towards Tahiti's mountains and these are designated Classic Mountain View Rooms. The other half are located on the front of the building and most have views out over the lagoon to Moorea, these are designated Superior Lagoon View Rooms. There are 2 Superior Lagoon View Suites. The rooms are compact in size at 28 square metres (including the deck) but they are well optioned and comfortable. The suites are 56 square metres in size.

A good number of rooms can be interconnected and there are special rates for families occupying 2 interconnecting rooms.

Kids Policy
Children 3 to 11 years of age require a second room at this resort at a discount of 50% off contract rates.
Children under 3 years of age eat free. Children 3 to 11 years of age receive a 50% discount on meals when dining with at least 1 paying adult.

The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however, the Hotel standard times and rates are as follows:

Cancellation Policy
 All cancellations must be made in writing.
 If cancellations are effected within 3 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to one night’s accommodation will be levied.
