OUR Thoughts on Raiatea Lodge Hotel, Raiatea, French Polynesia
Completely renovated in 2020, the Raiatea Lodge Hotel is a small charming hotel, located on the West coast of Raiatea, close to the town center of Uturoa, facing Bora Bora. It has a nice large park, a swimming pool, and crossing the small road, a pontoon with access to the lagoon and a beautiful snorkeling spot. All accommodations are air-conditioned, comfortable and spacious, with a terrace looking over the garden and the lagoon. The warm atmosphere, elegant decor, attentive service and comfortable rooms & bungalows make it one of the best properties on the island. After passing through the coconut grove, you will arrive at the spacious mansion which houses the rooms upstairs; the suite, the bar and the restaurant on the ground floor. These different facilities offer a breathtaking view of the lodge’s swimming pool and the surrounding tropical garden.
Only 5 minutes away from the airport and 10 minutes from downtown Uturoa and its famous covered market, the lodge boasts an ideal location. Situated not far from the Tapioi and Temehani mountains, it will appeal to hiking and botanical enthusiasts. Moreover, its privileged location gives it a special charm and protects it from the prevailing winds, which are particularly felt from June to October. A snorkeling spot is accessible directly from the hotel, with a small motu reachable by kayak in approximately 15 minutes.

Fish from the lagoon, meat from New Zealand, Polynesian flavours and Mediterranean influences, taste the expertise of our chef Romain LEONARD, a devotee of homemade cuisine, and leave with lasting memories.
07:00 am - 09:30 am: Buffet breakfast
Bread, fruit juice, fresh local fruits, homemade yogurts & jams, cake of the day, cheese, cold meat, cereals, hots dishes (sausages, grilled bacon, hash browns, pancakes and an egg cooker at guests’ disposal). Tea selection.
A healthy space with savoury sweets is also available.
11:30 am - 01:30 pm: LUNCH a la carte / 01:30pm - 04:00pm Snacking menu (sandwiches, panini...).
06:00 pm - 08:00pm: DINNER a la carte
During high season (July to October) - One day per week : Polynesian buffet with show performed by an amateur group.
Mamas, teenagers and children offer a family and authentic show.
Day of the dinner show may change according to hotel's occupancy.
Your Accommodation Options
A noble wood, a refined style, the Raiatea Lodge Hotel blends in with the landscape but is certainly not lacking in character. Its warm atmosphere and sophisticated decoration make it a friendly place, perfect for relaxation.
Located on the first floor of the main building, the rooms overlook the lagoon or the lush garden while the bungalows are scattered along the sides of the tropical park. All categories of accommodation offer an intimate atmosphere where you can easily isolate and relax.

Enjoy the peace and Polynesian charm in these rooms, made all of wood and decorated in the colors of the islands of Tahiti (turquoise and chocolate, hibiscus, plum, anise). Modern high-end equipment, teak furniture and colonial style terrace with stunning views over the park of one hectare and the lagoon are the hallmark of these units. Note that these rooms can be connected by the terrace for families.

11 x Lagoon View Rooms:

Unlike the standard rooms, lagoon rooms offer an unobstructed view of the ocean. A wise mix of comfort, elegance and authenticity, they are fully equipped and decorated in a refined style. The furniture and rough wooden floor give them an undeniable cachet, while the terrace overlooks lush vegetation. For stays with family or friends, these rooms can be arranged in triple occupancy (one double bed and one single bed). In addition, two adjacent rooms can communicate via the terrace.

1 x Family Suite Apetahi:
Surface: 50m²
Situated on the ground floor of the main building, this suite features two bedrooms, a matrimonial one with a king size bed, and the other for children, with two twin beds. The central living room opens directly onto the terrace, the park and the lagoon.
The bedrooms are air-conditioned while the living room is equipped with an air fan. A modern bathroom completes this 50m2 space dedicated to couples with young children. Finally, like each of our rooms, this suite combines comfort and elegance.

5 x Lagoon View Bungalows:

Located in the hotel’s park, facing the mythical island of Bora Bora, these four bungalows enjoy a peaceful island atmosphere. Completely independent, these cosy bungalows have a vast terrace where you can relax at sunset. Equipped with a king size bed, the bedroom extends to a study area and a meridian, which acts as a TV lounge. Featuring a double washbasin and a spacious shower, the bathroom will provide unforgettable moments of relaxation. A colonial style wrapped in Polynesian warmth, this category will not fail to charm you.

Independent, spacious and peaceful, they are Located in the tropical park, facing Motu Miri Miri, and offer a breathtaking view of the lagoon from the terrace. Parents can enjoy the king size bed located in the suite, which opens onto the office/living room area, while children can relax in the two single beds at their disposal. Finally, the spacious bathroom is easily accessible as it communicates with both bedrooms. From space to layout, style and comfort, this bungalow has been specially designed to accommodate your family.

Getting To and From Raiatea Lodge Hotel
Air Tahiti fly regular services between Tahiti and Raiatea Airport. Direct flights take 45 minutes. Inter-island connections are also available between Bora Bora and Raiatea (15-minute flight) and Huahine and Raiatea (20-minute flight). Raiatea Airport is located on the northern coast of Raiatea. Raiatea Lodge Hotel is located on the West coast of Raiatea, close to the town center of Uturoa, facing Bora Bora. 10min drive from the airport, 15min from Uturoa pier.
