LINAREVA MOOREA BEACH RESORT
Our Resort Report
OUR Thoughts on Linareva Moorea Beach Resort, Ha’apiti, Moorea, French Polynesia
Pension Linareva Moorea Beach Resort is a great choice for those seeking a more “natural” holiday on Moorea. “Natural” because it is away from the main tourist centres, has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the sea is clear and the mountains and downlands and gardens backing the property are exceptional for beautiful walks. The location is also very handy to the famous Ha’apiti Surf spot.
As well as a beautiful beach, Linareva features a long board-walk out over the shallow lagoon to the deep water beyond where their famous daily shark-feeding is held each day at sundown. Sunsets are spectacular from this board-walk, indeed sunsets are enjoyed from everywhere at this location
At Linareva every one of the 9 accommodation units has a kitchenette. Breakfasts (eggs and fruit from the garden) and dinners are served on your private veranda/terrace – just order your dinner each day from reception and it will be delivered to you by 7:00pm. For snacks, Pizza Daniel is only 200 metres away and 3 or 4 restaurants, which are 7 or 8 kms away, provide complimentary transfer service for diners.
Accommodation comes in a choice of Studio (open plan) as well as one-bedroom and two-bedroom options. Some units are located in the garden, others offer beach front and lagoon view options. Units are serviced daily.
Included in the tariff at Linareva Moorea:
• Use of Kayaks
• Use of Masks and Snorkels
• Bikes
• Cards, games and small library

General note regarding standards and guest experiences at Pensions
(also known as Guest Houses and Family Hotels).
The Pension-style of accommodation is well established in French Polynesia, following the line of similar properties in Europe (and France in particular) which have been enjoyed by travellers for many years. There is no doubt that, for the right person, a stay in a Pension in French Polynesia can be a very rewarding experience. Generally, members of the family offering the accommodation manage and work at the property and that adds something of a “local hospitality” feel to a stay. Of course, standards vary from those experienced in international resorts and hotels, but the difference is reflected in the room tariffs. What is not reflected in the room tariff is the personal service and the warm feelings of well-being that can be experienced from a stay in a Pension in French Polynesia.
We recommend you take note of the section in the attached Fact Sheet headed “Important Remarks Information” to further explain the type of accommodation and services to expect.
