OUR Thoughts on Cook's Bay Hotel & Suites, Moorea
The iconic Cook's Bay Hotel of Moorea has completed its 2-year renovation works and is now open for guests to enjoy. Ideally located on the shores of one of the two large bays of Moorea, the Cook’s Bay Hotel & Suites is an iconic property of the 1980s. Relaunching in 2023, the hotel presents 38 suites, including two family suites, spread across 5 wings. The suites located at the garden-level offer direct beach and pool access, while the upper floor boasts wider views of the island. Each beautifully designed suite features a bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a lounge area, a kitchenette, and a spacious balcony. The Family Suites offer more space and sophistication thanks to a corner balcony and two separate bedrooms with ensuite bathroom built around the lounge and dining area. Just a few steps away from these beachside abodes, relax and indulge on the hotel’s private outdoor area. Surrounding a large mirror-like swimming pool, the well-appointed space spreads all the way down to a white-sand beach, where a pristine and shallow lagoon invites you to cool down throughout the day. Travel deeper into relaxation with the selection of refreshments available at the hotel’s pool bar, including cocktails bursting sun-drenched local flavors. Easily accessible via the wooden walkway or directly from the sea via the floating pontoon, the hotel’s restaurant & bar Le Cook’s boasts a 180-degree view across the bay, its surrounding peaks, the pass and the Pacific Ocean. On the garden level, you enjoy the privilege of a direct access to the pool and beach area, while the upper floor offers wider views over the sea. One Bedroom Suites (17 Garden Level & 19 Upper Floor):
The 36 One Bedroom suites have a floor area of 365 sq ft + 160 sq ft on the balcony. They all feature a bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a living room with kitchenette and a spacious terrace. The bathroom is very functional and offers walk-in shower and double vanity unit. For more comfort the toilets are separated. The bright living room has a sofa that can easily be converted into a bed with optimal comfort to accommodate 2 additional guests. The kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven and induction hobs opens to the possibility of staying in the comfort of your room for your meals. Furnished with sunbeds, a table and chairs, the terrace is the perfect place to relax and unwind where you will enjoy the views to the fullest.

Additional Bedding: Fold-out Sofa bed for 3rd and 4th person
Two Bedroom Suites (1 Garden Level & 1 Upper Floor):
Equipped with an additional bedroom, the 2 family suites named Teavaroa and Rotui, are arranged in corner, which gives them a comfortable surface of 538 sq ft + 485 sq ft of terrace. Here, the 2 bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms are arranged on each side of the living room.
Each bedroom include a queen size bed and a large storage space in wardrobes. The bathrooms with WC are very functional and offer walk-in showers and double vanity units. The bright and spacious living room has a sofa that can easily be converted into a bed with optimal comfort to accommodate 2 additional guests. The kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven and induction hobs opens to the possibility of staying in the comfort of your room for your meals. The large corner terrace provides a highly enjoyable relaxation area furnished in style with sunbeds, a table and chairs to relax and unwind with a view.

Getting To and From Cook's Bay Hotel & Suites Moorea
Our Specialists will organise and cost appropriate transfers between Tahiti and Moorea in your package arrangements as required/agreed. Options include scheduled fast ferry from downtown Papeete to the Moorea Ferry Terminal, or a short 10-minute scheduled flight from Faa’a Airport Tahiti to Moorea Airport, then road transport from either the Ferry Terminal or Moorea Airport to Cook's Bay Hotel & Suite Moorea. Allow 15 minutes by car from the airport or the Moorea ferry terminal.
