OUR Thoughts on Hotel Le Lagon Noumea, 149 Rte de l'Anse Vata, Nouméa
This hotel is exceptional for a 3 Star-rated property. A 3 star-rated hotel can sometimes be a little hit-and-miss as to the standard of the rooms and services, but not at Le Lagon Noumea! We have known the operators of this hotel for years and we know they deliver a superior small hotel experience for visitors to Noumea.
Hotel Le Lagon Noumea delivers excellent value for money. While not located right on Anse Vata Beach, it has a very central location near the Hilton Residences and it is only a 5-minute walk (if that) to Anse Vata Beach. You will find a bakery next door, a convenience store about 1 minute away and a full supermarket only 10 minutes-or-so walk away. There is a burger outlet, an Italian restaurant and a French eatery very handily located. All the action of Anse Vata (shops, restaurants, night clubs etc) is easily accessible on foot but far enough away so as not to disturb the quiet semi-suburban location of the hotel. The city buses stop a few metres along the road giving easy access to many of Noumea’s attractions. It is also an easy walk over to Baie des Citrons for its many cafés and restaurants and the wonderful Noumea Aquarium.
The hotel has a pretty little restaurant in a garden setting. Their Le Gauguin Restaurant opens for breakfast every day (brunch on weekends) and offers a continental breakfast as well as a cooked buffet breakfast. We can quote you a nightly accommodation rate without meals or one which includes continental breakfast if you fancy a “breakfast included” option. We can also arrange a Half Board meal package comprising continental breakfast and either lunch or dinner, or a Full Board meal package comprising continental breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Lunch and dinner is served at Le Stone Grill which is located nearby.
As an addition to its Sport & Fitness Centre Spa, a guest Sauna is also available. To complement these facilities, Le Lagon Noumea includes a good range of services in the tariff.

We always find the Reception staff (indeed ALL the staff) to be really friendly and helpful and we think you’ll appreciate the complimentary iced water in the lobby too. There is also a microwaveable meal dispensing machine in the lobby and a guest-use laundry on 3 hotel floors.
If you’re looking for an alternative to a big resort for your holiday, while still enjoying good service and facilities and real value for money, Hotel Le Lagon Noumea is really worth considering for your Noumea vacation.

Your Accommodation Options
The hotel has 2 air-conditioned accommodation blocks up to 6 floors high. The higher floor rooms and suites have a pleasant outlook either towards the city and mountains or towards the sea. The tariffs do not differentiate between those rooms and suites with a view and those lower down in the buildings. The rooms and suites are all in great shape following the redevelopment which was undertaken in 2007 to 2009. The Studio Rooms are not huge at 20m2, but they are totally adequate for 2 guests and very good value for money with their kitchenette, nice modern bathroom and pleasant 6m2 furnished balcony. The One Bedroom Suites are double the size of the Studios at 40m2 with the addition of a comfortable separate lounge room which comes complete with lounge furniture and 4 seat dining table. One Bedroom Suites have a beautiful 12m2 furnished balcony.
The bathrooms in both accommodation types have a combo bath/shower – the modern shower has a nice big rain-head shower head. As is often the style in Noumea, there is a large window between the bedroom and the bathroom which provides natural light into the bathroom. There is a blind on this window for privacy if required.
The kitchenettes contain an under-counter fridge, sink, kettle and microwave oven. Plates, glasses and cutlery are provided.

Getting To and From Hotel Le Lagon Noumea
We will include return arrival and departure airport transfers as required/agreed in package arrangements.
Kids’ Policy
Kids Stay Free
● Children aged under 12 years stay free when sharing with
parents when utilising existing bedding.
Conditions:
- Children sharing with parents, who have purchased the

50% Discounted Food for Kids
● Children aged under 12 years are entitled to a 50% discount off food when dining with their parents at either the hotel’s Le Gauguin Restaurant for breakfast or weekend brunch, or at Le Stone Grill which is located nearby.

Check in time is 2:00pm
Check out time is 11:00am
Late check-out to 6:00pm (when available) is charged at 50% of the nightly cost of the accommodation occupied.
Day-Use Rate:
Day-use of accommodation is available at 50% of the nightly rate for a maximum 6 hours use any time between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing
Cancellations received at the hotel between 4 and 14 days
prior to scheduled arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to
50% of the total cost of the accommodation booked
Cancellations received at the hotel within 4 days of
scheduled arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to 100%
of the accommodation booked.
No-shows or days not used due to early departure from the
hotel incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the cost of
accommodation booked and not utilised.
