These condominiums are spacious one and two bedroom deluxe accommodations. The complex is low rise, and each building is two stories. All of the one bedroom condos are on the ground level and all of the two bedroom condos are located on the second floor. All of the two bedroom condos have a loft where the second bedroom and bathroom are located. All condos have a fully equipped kitchen, are fully furnished and have a washer and dryer in the unit.

Our Thoughts on Maui Kamaole Resort
The Kihei district is an interesting alternative to Kaanapali and Wailea for a holiday on Maui. Still on the western side of Maui but closer to Kahului City and Airport than Maui’s best-known tourist areas, Kihei boarders Wailea to the north and spreads around 10 kms along the coast with many beautiful sandy beaches facing Lanai and Kaho‘olawe, another 2 of Hawaii’s islands, in the middle distance, Kihei is the area where many private citizens have a beach condo and although there is the odd major hotel operator represented here, the majority of the accommodation on offer is low-rise, privately-owned condos in a managed complex. Maui Kamaole Resort is one such property.
The coast immediately outside Maui Kamaole is a rocky outcrop which divides Kamaole Beach Park III from Kaewakapu Beach. Kamaole Beach Park is 300 metres to the north and Kaewakapu Beach 400 metres to the south. Both are beautiful open-ocean swimming beaches.
Maui Kamaole Resort is a great place to stay for a week or more. The grounds and gardens are superbly maintained and the whole place has a feeling of friendly informality about it. Couples do tend to mix with the other guests around the 2 pools and the guest BBQs, the kids seem to congregate around the top pool but the grounds are so extensive that kids are free to roam over a nice big area and all units are so placed to preserve privacy as much as possible that the whole resort area is quiet and peaceful. Although every unit has a full kitchen, the kitchen beside the pool is a great facility for a family group to enjoy a meal cooked beside the pool.
All 216 units are privately owned so décor does differ. Most are decorated in beach-style which makes them very pleasant for a beach holiday. We’re impressed with the ample size and the pleasant ambience of the units here. In an effort to ensure the condos we offer are maintained to an acceptable standard, we work with a condo-management company which manages 130 of the units at Maui Kamaole.
For those wanting Four Seasons, Sheraton or Westin style on Maui, we offer this standard, but for those seeking a relaxed vibe and a spacious condo/apartment-style with the option of self-catering, great beaches and a more homely feeling, Maui Kamaole Resort may well be just the place you are looking for.

Your Accommodation Options
Maui Kamaole comprises 13 clusters of 2 storied condo buildings spread out over a rise up from the land side of the waterfront road. There are 2 swimming pools, so no unit is far from a swimming pool. The tennis courts are located right at the top (back) of the property so the units furthest away from the beach (a 10 minute walk to the beach from here) are closest to the tennis courts. Lower units are a 3 minute walk from the beach.
All condos feature a full kitchen, dining area, separate lounge and 2 bathrooms. All One Bedroom Condos are on the ground floor and most Two Bedroom Condos are on the first floor (walk-up), although there is an option of ground floor Two Bedroom Condos too.
Minimum Stay Requirements:
At Kamaole Maui Resort there is a minimum stay requirement of 4 nights.
Cleaning Fee:
A mandatory cleaning fee is charged at Maui Kamaole Resort as follows:
One Bedroom Units: $100 (includes tax)

One-Time Reservation & Damage Waiver Fee:
A one-off Fee of US$50 plus tax (a total of US$52.09) is charged by the resort and will be included in your package price.
This fee replaces the need for Maui Kamaole Resort to collect a credit card imprint from guests on arrival at the resort. The fee covers any accidental damage up to US$1,000.00. Items that are broken need to be reported to resort management.

Ground Floor Two Bedroom/Den Garden View:
The Ground Floor Two Bedroom Condos are 115m2 including the lanai. Similar in layout to the One Bedroom Condos, these units have a second bedroom (Den) which is smaller than the main bedroom but still big enough to hold a King Bed or 2 Single Beds.
2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The second bathroom is not an ensuite which makes it more suitable for use when the Sofa Bed in the lounge is being utilised.

All located on the first floor and loft of the building clusters, these Two Bedroom Condos are 119m2 including the lanais. One bedroom is located on the main floor and has an adjacent bathroom which is not accessed via the bedroom so that guests utilising the Fold-Out Sofa Bed in the lounge do not disturb those in the main-floor bedroom. The lounge/kitchen/dining are all on this level. The second bedroom is accessed off the living area by stairs in a loft-style arrangement where this bedroom opens to a void above the living area and may be screened for privacy by bifold shutters but these do not sound-proof the second bedroom. The second bedroom has an ensuite bathroom.

Getting to and from Maui Kamaole Resort
We will include return seat-in-vehicle airport transfers between Kahului Airport Maui and Maui Kamaole Resort in package arrangements as required/agreed.
The Maui Bus (US$2 ride fee) operates hourly between Kamaole Beach III and downtown Kahului (Maui’s capital) and the trip takes approximately 1 hour each way. For trips to Lahaina The Maui Bus route 15 connects with route 20 at Maalaea Harbour Village. There is also a very regular Maui Bus service between Lahaina and Kaanapali Beach, so you can certainly get around by public transport if you are not in too much of a hurry!
For those staying a week or more, you will probably want to rent a car for at least a period of your stay and Our Specialists can assist with this. Parking for a car is included in the accommodation price at Maui Kamaole Resort.

Bookings cancelled within 7 days of scheduled arrival (Hawaii time) will incur a cancellation fee equal to the cost of staying 4 nights at the rate booked plus relevant taxes. This includes no shows and guests departing before scheduled departure date.

Bookings cancelled after 01 November (Hawaii time) will incur a cancellation fee equal to the cost of staying 7 nights at the rate booked plus relevant taxes. This includes no shows and guests departing before scheduled departure date.
