OUR thoughts on the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa
They have really thought of everything to make a stay at the InterContinental Fiji an unforgettable experience. The resort design is inspired by the layout of a traditional village in Fiji’s Outer Islands and that really works for this modern resort. Apart from the nearby world-class golf course, the great choice of restaurants and bars and the fabulous beach, it's the many small things that make this Resort so special. Things like the thatched cabanas scattered throughout the beachfront lawns where guests can relax out of the sun or enjoy a massage or perhaps take a private romantic dinner, the 24-hour gymnasium, the expansive adults-only horizon pool and yoga deck and the much larger family pool complete with water-fountain jets. Then there is the lovely little beachfront wedding chapel, the separate Club InterContinental with private club lounge and pool with amazing views out over the bay, the fabulous facilities for children and the superb staff.
As a guest arriving at the InterContinental Fiji you will greeted personally as you step out of your transfer vehicle and escorted along the wide entrance hall (which seems to float above the resort forecourt), to the reception desks, where you are personally seated in front of a receptionist for check-in formalities. The views of the resort and the beach and Natadola Bay from the entrance hall and the reception area are totally stunning. Club InterContinental guests have a separate reception area.
The guest rooms at the InterContinental Fiji are some of the best hotel rooms you could wish to find anywhere. The guest rooms are big, airy and modern, each with a full-size bathroom ensuite complete with 2 vanity basins, separate shower and separate toilet. But it is the way that the 63 square metre bedrooms can open right up to incorporate the patio or the huge balcony that really sets these rooms apart from others in Fiji. The large patios on the ground floor guest rooms incorporate a Cleopatra bath on the patio and the whole undercover portion of the patio (including the Day Beds) can be screened off for total privacy by a black-out weather curtain. The first-floor balconies are also spectacular with a double bed size daybed at one end and a Cleopatra bath at the other end which can be screened off from the outside world with shutters and a weather curtain. With the massive glass doors open between the bedroom and the balcony, the whole living area is totally integrated. So, don the fluffy robes, light the candles (matches thoughtfully provided), fill the Cleopatra bath, open the champagne - well, you get the idea!
Note re Natadola Golf Course Availability
The Natadola Golf Course is becoming more and more popular as the venue for various golfing events during the year and this can result in casual golfers having restricted tee times or course closures on some days. To avoid disappointment, we recommend pre-booking course times.

Resort Rooms and Suites
are located in two-floor blocks at the beach level of the resort and are designated according to their outlook: Each has a Cleopatra Bath on the patio or balcony.
Garden View Rooms
are scattered throughout quiet spots in the tropical gardens.
Pool View Rooms
mainly overlook the large crescent-shaped family activity pool.
Lagoon View Rooms and One Bedroom Lagoon View Suites
are handy to Navo Restaurant and have views of the lagoon and Navo Island just across the lagoon.
Beachfront View Rooms and One Bedroom Beachfront Suites
are absolute beachfront and fan out on either side of the adults-only infinity pool and dive pool.
Club InterContinental Suites
Club InterContinental, which is like a resort within a resort, is located on an elevated level and has an exclusive-use resort pool and special services including the Club Lounge and 24-hour butler service. The Club InterContinental 1 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom Suites have either a Cleopatra bath on the balcony/patio or a 2-person Plunge Bath. Originally Club InterContinental was restricted to adult guests only, but following many requests, guests of all ages are now catered for in Club Suites.
Interconnecting Room Options
Interconnecting rooms are mostly requested by 2 couples travelling together, families seeking separate privacy for adults and children and groups of friends travelling together. Rooms interconnect, not by a door in the wall between them, but in the vestibule which services both rooms and this gives each room a private front door.

A very limited number of One Bedroom King Club Suites are able to accommodate an infant in a cot in addition to the maximum occupancy policy. This arrangement is always subject to the hotel's special confirmation at the time the booking is requested.

Both types are a huge 156m2.
Each Two Bedroom Club Suite Plunge incorporates a private plunge pool.

Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed in the main bedroom & 2 Single Beds in the second bedroom.
Additional Bedding: up to 2 Rollaway Beds can be added for the 5th & 6th adult or 2 children. Up to 2 cots may be substituted for the Rollaway Bed.
The Natadola Suite:
218 m2 in size with 2 bedrooms, extended living area and private pool, access to Club InterContinental services, inclusions and facilities.
Maximum Occupancy: 7 Adults or 2 Adults and 5 Children
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed in the main bedroom and 2 Double Beds in the second bedroom.
Additional Bedding: 1 Rollaway Bed can be added for the 7th adult or a child. 1 cot may also be added.
Families and Kids
InterContinental Fiji welcomes families and provides a great range of family facilities. The biggest pool in the resort, The Family Activity Pool is a large, crescent-shaped pool complete with a kids walk-in wading area and water fountain jets. This pool fronts the blocks of Pool View Rooms which are specially set up to cater for families with space for the addition of a rollaway bed and a cot. The Planet Trekkers Kids’ Club is handily located near this area too.
Children aged 12 years and under stay free of charge (maximum 2 children) when sharing with parents and using existing bedding.
Baby cots are complimentary.
Children aged 0-4 years and under eat breakfast free of charge in Sanasana Restaurant when accompanied by a dining adult.
Kids Club - Planet Trekkers
There are two separate sections for age groups 4 to 7 years and 8 to 12 years
(children under 4 may attend accompanied by a Nanny)

Getting to and from and around when staying at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa
We will provide a seat-in-coach or private car arrival/departure transfer from/to Nadi International Airport to The InterContinental Fiji as required and agreed in package arrangements. The direct transfer time is approximately 40 minutes, however, seat-in-vehicle (coach) transfers may stop at other resorts en route and this will add to the time in transit.
Another option is to have a rental car which we can organise for you to pick up either from the airport or from the hotel while you are staying there. The InterContinental Fiji is a great spot from which to explore the whole south coast of Viti Levu as far as Suva (120km away). It is quite a long day trip to Suva, so it pays to start out reasonably early to enjoy all the attractions along the way.

To guarantee your room/suite will be available for arrivals prior to 3:00pm the previous night will need to be booked and confirmed.
Late Check-out
Late check-out when available is charged at 50% tariff until 6:00pm. Late check-out after 6:00pm is charged as an extra night.
