Our Thoughts on Volivoli Beach Resort
Volivoli Beach Resort started out as a dive base for Ra Divers (which still operates to the world-class dive locations just off Volivoli Beach),Volivoli Beach Resort has a pleasant, laid-back, polished wood-floor restaurant and a big swimming pool complete with swim-up bar. Being located on a point of land with sea out front and on 2 sides, Volivoli Beach Resort feels for all the world like an island resort but has the added bonus of guests not having to leave the main island of Viti Levu to get there.

Volivoli Beach is located on the most northerly point of Viti Levu where two converging ocean currents have produced a long, white sandy spit out off the beach in front of the pool complex. This is an ideal spot for sunbathing, snorkelling and kayaking. Snorkeling amongst the marine-life and the living coral immediately off the end of the spit is very special. There is a dedicated dive and fishing boat fleet , 2 restaurants and 3 bars  the nuku bar and restaurant with live music and the Ra bar which is the beachfront bistro and bar and the swim up pool bar - there a multipul happy hours happening at each of these bars during the day . Volivoli Beach Resort have a boutique and day spa and a number of excursions including a dolphin encounter and sunset cruise as well as a village and day tour to the Nabalasere waterfall ( the largest waterfall in Fiji)

The accommodation is located on terraces which vary from the ocean front to 70 metres above the beach and the restaurant/pool complex – this provides every unit with spectacular views of Malake Island to the west, Nananu-i-Ra Island to the east and the far-off Yasawa Islands and the big island, Vanua Levu, to the north. The location captures both sunrises and sunsets. This northern coast of Viti Levu is sheltered from the prevailing south easterly winds by the mountainous interior of the island, so annual rainfall is not high.  As well as the licensed restaurant & bar, swim up pool bar and large swimming pool, everyone enjoys the daily Happy Hour, all-tide swimming beach, large screen TV for sports events, hammocks and beach towels.

Volivoli Beach Resort is one of those places where you could happily stay a week or two (or longer) to chill, refresh and enjoy the peaceful serene off-the-beaten-track surroundings.  We rate Volivoli real value-for-money for the standard of accommodation and services they deliver and their happy combination of some of the friendliest Fijian staff around, who, together with their dedicated on-site family of owners/managers make for a great stay every time.

Compulsory Meal Plan Options
Taking a meal plan is compulsory for all guests and 2 options are available:

Includes full cooked breakfast and 3-course evening meal (included theme night meals)
 Full Board
Included Half Board plus a 2-course lunch.

 - Meal Plans do not include lobster or other specialty
   seasonal seafood for which there is a surcharge.

 Honeymoon Inclusion
Honeymooners staying at least 3 paid nights receive a bottle of sparkling wine.

Room Categories (In ascending order of tariff)
 Oceanview Rooms:
Similar to Deluxe Ocean View Rooms but with a different bedding configuration and a cheaper tariff for up to 4 guests sharing.  All Oceanview Rooms are ground floor and located in 2 blocks handy to the restaurant and pool. They are ideal for a family with older children or a group of friends.  Big and bright with 2 big lazy ceiling fans, light-coloured ceramic tiled floors and light-coloured painted walls, the Oceanview rooms are air-conditioned, have a small fridge and tea/coffee making facility, writing desk, big bathroom with twin vanities and a deck complete with deck chairs from which to enjoy the great views.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests of any age provided one is an adult
Existing Bedding: 1 Queen Bed and 2 Single Beds.
Additional Bedding: 1 baby cot may be added for an infant aged up to 24 months.

 Deluxe Ocean View Rooms:
The Deluxe Ocean View category offers very well appointed and sizeable rooms in a single level hotel block located on the rise above the restaurant. Big and bright with 2 big lazy ceiling fans, light-coloured ceramic tiled floors and light-coloured painted walls, all Deluxe Ocean View rooms are air-conditioned, have a small fridge and tea/coffee making facility, writing desk, big bathroom with twin vanities and a deck complete with deck chairs and the great views for which Volivoli is famous.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children aged under 12 years occupying existing bedding.
Existing Bedding: 2 Queen Beds.
Additional Bedding: 1 baby cot may be added for an infant aged up to 24 months.

 Premium Oceanview Villas:
Stunning open-plan stand-alone bungalows built in a wide circle immediately above the beach and the spit. The Premium Oceanview Villas are all positioned on a circular path in the resort grounds with the first villa located around 30 metres above the beach.  The path rises up to around 70 metres above the beach at the highest point of the circle. Each villa backs on to a tropical lawn and fronts outward towards the view. Individual villas are built in a split-level design where the main bed is raised up 2 steps from the lounge area so that the spectacular view can also be enjoyed from the bed. As well as the 2 steps up to the sleeping platform, a low dividing wall provides some privacy from the living area below. There is a corner day bed in the living area which converts to 2 single beds for sleeping if required. Premium Oceanview Villas have a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, a clothes washing machine, air-conditioning, ceiling fans and flow-through screened windows with wooden shutters. The natural hardwood shutters compliment the light ceramic tiled floors, the light painted walls and raked ceilings. The good-sized bathroom features double vanity basins. The roof line of each bure extends out to provide an individual veranda – a great spot to relax and take in the view from the day beds provided.

Existing Bedding: 1 Queen Bed in the raised sleeping area as well as 2 single couch beds in the living area.
Additional Bedding: 1 baby cot may be added for an infant aged up to 2 years.

Family Ocean View Villa:
A large 2 Bedroom villa, each bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. There is a separate central lounge and dining area, air-conditioning, clothes washing machine and clothes line, screened doors, coffee table, ceiling fans, dining table, fridge, microwave and tea/coffeemaking facility. Rooms open to a large covered private outdoor living area with patio lounge and dining setting.  Gorgeous ocean views.
Maximum Occupancy: 6 guests
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed in each bedroom area, either or both of which may be split into 2 Single Beds and 2 Single Beds in the lounge area
Additional Bedding: 1 baby cot may be added.

 Luxury Ocean Front Villas:
A separate bedroom, 2 ensuite bathrooms and a private swimming pool.
Beautiful, spacious villas featuring the main sleeping area separated from the lounge by 2 steps up behind the lounge.  A spacious ensuite bathroom with twin vanities and a walk-in shower runs off this area. A second bedroom is located beside the lounge and features a second ensuite bathroom with double rain-head walk-in shower.  As is the case in the lounge, large doors open off the second bedroom to the expansive deck and a private 8x3 metre swimming pool. Luxury Ocean Front Villas are air-conditioned, have a private ocean-view balcony, in-room lockable security drawers, clothes washing machine and clothes line, coffee table, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facility as well as the individual swimming pool complete with sun-loungers and an outdoor dining setting. 
Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests of any age provided one is an adult.
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed in the open-plan living area and a King Bed in the separate bedroom, either or both of which may be split into 2 Single Beds.
Additional Bedding: 1 baby cot and a Rollaway Bed may be added for a child aged under 12 years

Getting to and from Volivoli Beach Resort
Located on the north coast of Viti Levu around 2 hours by road from Nadi International Airport along the beautifully newly sealed Kings Road. It is a similar distance to Suva around the Kings Road and only 10 minutes by road from Raki Raki town. Volivoli Beach Resort provide a personal airport meet and greet with a shell lei and chilled bottle of water. Transfers are handled in their own resort vehicle, so transfers are non-stop, which does save time in transit. Our Specialists will include transfers as required/agreed when organising a stay at Volivoli Beach.

Children of all ages are welcome at Volivoli Beach Resort.
Kids Eat Free
Children aged 2 to 12 years eat all meals free from the approved children's menu only with a full paying adult on the equivalent meal plan.
