NAMALE
FIJI'S #1 RESORT & SPA
Our Resort Report
Our Thoughts on Namale Resort & Spa, Savusavu, Vanua Levu, Fiji
We are really pleased to offer Namale Resort & Spa. In our opinion, Namale is one of the highest-grade resorts in all Fiji. From the least expensive Garden Tropical Bures to the magnificent Dream House Grand Villa, all accommodation is superbly presented. The service, the meals, The Namale Spa and all activities are handled with total professionalism while managing to retain the natural Fijian charm and friendliness of those who are looking after you.
Namale is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Somewhat unusual for Fiji, the resort is built along the top of a 15-metre-high rocky outcrop where the land meets the Koro Sea. There are a couple of beach coves at the base of the rocks although the sand comes and goes depending on the tides and ocean swells. However, there are lovely sandy beaches nearby. The low rocky ocean cliff adds immeasurably to the ambience and the experience of staying at Namale as well as ensuring the privacy of the guests. It is impossible for anyone other than the guests occupying the individual ocean frontage accommodation to look in from the front of these bures and villas. All the bures and villas back on to a huge expanse of tropical lawns and gardens which are generously peppered with coconut palms from the days when Namale was a working plantation.
Namale further impresses by being a “fully all-inclusive” resort. The tariff includes all meals and drinks, even as far as snacks between meals and the mini-bar in each bure and villa being fully stocked with guests’ favourite drinks and nibbles and replenished daily at no additional cost. There is an extensive wine list including champagne which is also included in the tariff. Bar service is available throughout the day. Namale also offers a “Premium Wine Selection” which guests can purchase from as required. Meals at Namale are exceptional and guests’ individual requirements are fully met. Meals may be taken at various private locations around the resort. So many of the resort’s services are included in the tariff – even down to Savusavu airport transfers and use of the spa room at the Namale Spa.

Your Accommodation Options
Namale offers high quality bure and villa options. There are only 22 units across 5 categories. Namale has taken a green approach to the construction of its bures and villas and as such each is uniquely built to compliment the natural features of its location with the mountains and rainforest behind and the ocean in front. We like the fact that Namale gives each of its bures and villas a name which reflects the fact that each is individual in its presentation. All except the Garden Tropical Bures offer a sea view.
All accommodations are air-conditioned as well as having a ceiling fan, tea and coffee facilities, a fully-stocked mini-bar (replenished daily), personal safe, iron and ironing board and WiFi access. Bath robes, hair dryer and a Namale sarong (the sarong is for guests to keep).
