SEPTEMBER 2014
Aloha Hanisha
We had a fabulous holiday in Hawaii.
The flights were great with the seats chosen..we did the extra comfort ...well worth the extra money. Thank you for that.
The hotel was great as well. The location was at the end of Waikiki but within 5 mins walk of the centre and the beach across the road was perfect . The room was spacious and had a great view of the beach and Diamond Head. Each night we sat on the balcony and watched the wonderful sunset. It was worth paying the extra for a sea view as some of the standard rooms looked out over the carpark. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The shower is over the bath but was not a problem and the water pressure in the shower was good. The pool area is pleasant although we used the beach and the sea as it was so close and safe.
Tucker and Bevy and the ABC store underneath the hotel made it easy to stock up on yummy sandwiches and salads. The hotel provided coffee, guava juice and iced water in the reception which was very pleasant after a swim. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is on the public bus route and we travelled everywhere..even around to Turtle Bay for a mere $2.50 each way. We walked to Diamond Head which was an experience not to be missed and we also walked to Alamoana Shopping centre, although we always caught the bus back. The hotel was value for money and was a little quieter than some of the more upmarket range. I was a little apprehensive of going there because I had read on Tripadvisor about the homeless people around that area. There were some but they were not a problem and it was certainly a good choice of hotel for us.
Many thanks for your organisation..it was perfect.
Cheers
