NOVEMBER 2014

Hi Carissa

We had a fantastic time in Rarotonga. The biggest disappointment was having to come home to the cold and wet.

Our stay at the Edgewater Resort in Rarotonga was amazing. The room we had was in the Pukapuka block on the ground floor (which was great as there are only stairs to the top floors). It was wonderfully clean and very spacious with beauticul views from our patio directly out to the lagoon and the sea. The air con and the fan were very much appreciated as some days got a little muggy. The staff were all so friendly, especially Va and Robin, who were both exceptional, and the food was awesome. Each morning we enjoyed the Tropical Buffet breakfast, which included a range of tropical fresh fruits, cereals, juices and breads. A great way to start the day.

We were able soak up the sun and snorkel right out the front of our room every day with free loungers, towels and snorkeling gear to use from the resort. The bus picks up and drops off right inside the covered entrance at the Edgewater Resort grounds, so no need to worry about missing your stop.

Our package deal was incredibly amazing, the hour long spa/massage was extremely relaxing, and having a car included for 3 days allowed us to explore areas that the bus didn't go, which was a real bonus.

The Edgewater Resort is definitely a fantastic place to stay and we can't wait to return (although we might have to bring the boys next time as we don't think they will let us escape to paradise on our own again lol).
