FEBRUARY 2012

Dear Kyla,

Greetings.

I returned safely from Niue on Saturday (18th) and was straight back into a busy work schedule. So, here it is Wednesday 22nd before I'm sending this feedback.

First, thank you for your advice in putting together the holiday package. A special thank you for recommending Namukulu Cottages - it was perfect for the type of holiday I like and needed.

For a holiday destination that is totally unspoilt by commercialism and tourism Niue is tops. It was an interesting experience being able to take in food. Together with the Breakfast Pack supplied at the Cottages I was totally self contained and did not need to go to the shops. A hint for anyone else going there - to the outside of my suitcase I taped a list of all the food it contained. When I filled in the Arrival Card it was easy to tick the categories of items I was carrying then at Customs the lady was delighted with my list. She commented it made her job simple just checking the full list and verifying everything was as purchased at the Supermarket and unopened. She hopes other people will think to do the same thing.

At the Cottages I felt very much at home with the three dogs visiting each day, although I saw the cat only once. (Back home my two were in the Cattery and the Hedgehogs with another Carer.)

Brian Scott provided wonderful hospitality and it was a real bonus being able to have a relaxing massage. The only problem I struck was not having enough tissues on hand when my sinuses decided to empty out. No one was going into the township where I could buy more. To my delighted surprise in the afternoon a gift was delivered to the cottage - a large box of tissues. Someone from the grocery shop was coming up to the property so the request was made to bring this needed item. Now that is real service, for which I was most grateful.

All in all it was a great wind down and relaxing break. By the time I left here on the 11th I was exhausted but came a week later much refreshed and with renewed energy. If there was ever a place I would choose to go again it is Niue including staying at the Namukulu Cottages.

Kind regards,
Vivienne
