AUGUST 2015

Hi there,

We had a fantastic VERY VERY relaxing holiday thanks.

You organised everything perfectly, everything ran smoothly – eg: flight, accommodation, meals package, transfers etc.  Tonga was so relaxing.  The Liku’alofa Beach Resort was great, lovely tropical garden, the accommodation in the duplex was pretty basic and tired and you could hear the next door neighbours easily, but we only slept there so it was okay, I think next time I would prefer one of the beach front fales as they were individually placed.  It was advertised as having a fridge and TV in your room.  There was a shared fridge outside between the duplex and no TV!! But it didn’t bother us.  The sheets were not changed once in the whole time we were there, although they did change the towels.

The staff were lovely, Sunlight was the highlight of our stay there, she is one of the ladies who works in the bar/restaurant part. Always smiling and happy.  Tropical breakfast was good (that was included) but you could order other food for breakfast and that looked really good too.  The food was fantastic, we had the lunch and dinner deal, we couldn’t fault the food and the Tongan Feast and Show night was excellent, the show was fantastic.  We hired a car one day and went for a drive around the island, we checked out other accommodaton on the way just to compare and going by the outside of them ours was the best by far.

We met some people staying at the Heilala Resort up the road and they came to our resort most days as they preferred it there and could also get lunch, lots of places don’t serve lunch or you aren’t allowed in them if you don’t stay there.  Liku’alofa has a la carte lunch from 12pm to 3pm every day and dinner from 6pm to 9.30pm and you can just roll on up even if you don’t stay there and purchase lunch.

Tonga was very relaxing, not much to do I must say, we pretty much saw what there was to see in Tongatapu, even saw whales swimming past our resort!!

Thanks Hanisha for organising everything for us.

Next time we are heading around the Pacific I will be in touch.

Kind Regards
