MARCH 2016

Hi Liz,

Yes we had a great holiday in Samoa. The people are all so friendly and helpful. The Aggie Grey resort was comfortable and had a nice bar and restaurant and pool. It is such a great shame that the Golf Course has been neglected, the clubhouse looked an amazing building. I stood on the 13th green and felt very sad. Hopefully when they complete the renovations on the course it will be a great place for a golf holiday.

We rented a car, which was quite an experience. You certainly can't rush anywhere, especially after dodging the people, dogs, pigs and even donkeys walking on the roads. We visited the Robert Louis Stevenson museum which was really worth the visit, a wonderful building and gardens.

I think our only negative, is that the Samoan's do not really take advantage of the tourist trade. They don't seem to advertise or show any signs to any of the sites. In some instances we only found some places by using GPS and a map on my phone or by chance.
