Our Destination Dining series will bring Kiwis together to enjoy a memorable meal in spectacular locations around our beautiful country.
At each destination we’ll create a unique dining experience that showcases the best of cuisine and boutique beverages from the region – and all we ask is you bring a healthy appetite to eat, drink and socialise!
For the very first edition of Destination Dining on Saturday 27 March we’ve selected one of the most desirable wine estates in the world as our venue, Rippon Vineyard, which placed 13th in the World’s Best Vineyards Awards 2020 and was also named the best vineyard in Australasia.
Set amid the stunning Southern Alps of New Zealand and overlooking Lake Wanaka we’re biased, but it has to be one of the most instagrammable locations in the world.
Diners will gather to share a three-course long lunch showcasing the best local produce from the area, expertly matched with Rippon’s award-winning wine.
Over lunch you’ll meet other diners who have gathered to share this special experience and discover what draws visitors from all over the world to this picturesque place - the gorgeous natural beauty of mountains, lakes and forest.
The Destination Dining: Wanaka experience also includes two nights accommodation at the Edgewater Resort Hotel, Wanaka’s only accommodation directly on the shores of Lake Wanaka, giving you time to enjoy all the must do things on offer in this beautiful region.

Make your way to the Edgewater Resort Hotel and check in for a two night stay. Evening at leisure.
Saturday 27 March 2021
Enjoy breakfast at Edgewater, before enjoying time at leisure to explore Wanaka.
11.45am: Please meet in the lobby to depart for Rippon.
12pm to 3pm: Destination Dining: Wanaka at Rippon.
3pm: Return to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.
