OUR thoughts on Blue Lagoon Cruises
Blue Lagoon Cruises have been providing memorable cruises in Fiji successfully for 75 years, so they are obviously doing something right!   The MV. Yasawa Princess II, is new to the Blue Lagoon Cruises fleet in 2026, will be your home away from home throughout your cruise—except each morning, whereby you'll wake up in a different stunning location. With 75 years of experience cruising Fiji’s islands, they know the best spots to explore, and who better to show you these idyllic islands than the Fijian crew themselves? The all-Fijian team, with a high crew-to-guest ratio, ensures you'll receive attentive, personalized service. You'll quickly be greeted by name, and everywhere you go, you'll be welcomed with a warm ‘BULA’.

Operating from late April 2026, MV. Yasawa Princess II departs Port Denarau for her voyage into the enchanting Yasawa Islands. While you may travel on either the 32-cabin MV. Fiji Princess or the 22-cabin MV. Yasawa Princess II, both offer the same stunning destinations, all-inclusive experiences, and warm Fijian hospitality – so your cruise experience will be just as unforgettable, whichever ship you’re on.

Taking a Blue Lagoon Cruise as part of a Honeymoon in Fiji is a perfect way to celebrate a wedding.  Our Specialists can advise on Special Honeymoon Packages.  Or, how about considering a Wedding on a Blue Lagoon Cruise?  Bring your Wedding Guests with you and get married on the cruise ship.  Another popular option is to have the Wedding Ceremony on the picturesque white-sand beach at Blue Lagoon's Private Island at sunset.  Our Specialists can assist you to make this happen. Do try to fit in a Blue Lagoon Cruise to your Fiji holiday itinerary. The inclusion of a Blue Lagoon Cruise, no matter whether it’s a short or longer duration cruise itinerary, adds a wonderful highlight to any holiday in Fiji.
Blue Lagoon Cruises are normally restricted to guests aged 14 years and over, however, facing a big demand from past guests, Blue Lagoon Cruises have added "Family Cruise" departure dates which generally coincide with Australasian School Holidays. See details under "Kids' Policy" below.

During the Family Departures, the Child age is 5 to 13 years inclusive.  The "child rate" is a per child rate based on 2 children sharing the same cabin (OR 1 child and 1 adult sharing based on child paying the child fare and adult paying the per person Adult Twin/Double fare).

  • One child in their own cabin is charged the full Adult Single Cabin fare.
  • An Infant rate is valid for children under 5 years of age (during our designated Family Weeks only) based on sharing an Orchid cabin with 2 Adults (or 2 Children, or 1 Adult & 1 Child). Cruise Preparation
Blue Lagoon Cruises caters to people of all ages and fitness levels. However, you do need to have a good enough level of mobility to make your way up and down staircases between each deck. While getting in and out of the tender boats can require a certain degree of mobility, the crew will tailor shore landings to suit, and there’s nothing wrong with staying on board for those who would prefer to relax and enjoy the scenery. On or off the ship, the Blue Lagoon Cruises team will ensure that you have a truly memorable experience.

Dress standard
The dress code is casual and informal, even at dinner. We encourage our guests to wear what they feel comfortable in and to leave their dinner jackets and high heels at home. For those wanting to visit villages for cultural reasons, we do ask that men wear a sulu (provided in your cabin) and women dress modestly with shoulders and knees covered.
