The Noa Noa Terrace Restaurant, the attractive main hotel restaurant is at the core of the resort building, opening out onto an enclosed patio and down to the beach and lagoon across a superbly landscaped terrace. The setting is relaxing with indoor and outdoor seating and a Polynesian decor. The patio is lit to become the focus for our themed dinners and lively entertainment. Noa Noa taps local flavours and the chef's French savoir faire to create fine buffet and à la carte selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Under the shade of our majestic palm trees, Vini Vini Terrace Restaurant provides a cool retreat for all-day snacks, frosty drinks or a casual lunch. Located near the pool in view of the white sand beach and the lagoon, this comfortable gathering place offers refreshers such as La Salad Fenua, made with Bora Bora hearts of palm, pineapple and fenua shrimp.”
Our Thoughts on InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort
In Bora Bora resort terms, InterContinental’s Le Moana is considered a smaller resort so guests really do enjoy the friendly individual service, although, with 62 bungalows, it’s big enough to provide all the services you need for a memorable holiday on Bora Bora. The Resort is located on the main island on a big, beautiful white sand beach on the eastern side of a narrow point of land known as Matira Point. Just across the quiet circle island road outside the resort is Matira Beach which faced west and is a superb spot from which to enjoy the romantic sunset. Being a public beach, Matira Beach is well served by local cafes and restaurants and there is a food market within a 10-15 minute walk. Many guests at the InterContinental Le Moana find these cafes and shops a pleasant optional addition to the excellent restaurants at the Resort. Because Le Moana is on the mainland it is very handy to all Bora Bora’s well known restaurants such as Bloody Mary’s (3 minutes taxi ride) etc. Vaitape, the main town on Bora Bora is only a 7 minute taxi ride away.
The InterContinental Le Moana Bora Bora has a lovely established, relaxed authentic Polynesian feel about it and guests very quickly get into the casual Bora Bora mode. Mind you, if you feel like a change of scenery at any time you can take the complimentary Resort shuttle boat for a 10-15 minute ride through the lagoon to the other Bora Bora InterContinental Resort, the five star InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa which is located on one of the outer lagoon islands and where you can enjoy all the facilities and services this resort has to offer and charge back to your Le Moana bungalow. If you pre-purchase a meal plan at Le Moana, you may take any of the meals at the sister property. Your bungalow at Le Moana is always a very welcome place to come home to after a day out enjoying the many activities/sights that Bora Bora has to offer.
Your Accommodation Options
You arrive at the resort jetty by boat from the airport and are taken on a quick orientation tour of the resort before heading to the resort Reception. As you look out at the lagoon you will see a long line of Overwater Bungalows straight ahead that spread well out into the lagoon. Along this string, the bungalows closest to Reception and the restaurants and those further out that face back towards the beautiful beach are designated Overwater Lagoon Junior Suite Bungalows. The bungalows further out and those facing outward are designated Overwater Horizon Junior Suite Bungalows. At the very end of this string of bungalows the last four are designated Overwater White Villas.
Past the lovely horizon swimming pool on the beach there is a line of bungalows which are right on the beach which are known as Beach Junior Suite Bungalows and at the furthest end of the beach there is another smaller group of overwater bungalows which are not so far out onto the lagoon which contains 6 Overwater Lagoon Junior Suite Bungalows and 1 Overwater Horizon Junior Suite Bungalow. All bungalows are air-conditioned but, depending on the time of year you are visiting, the lagoon breezes are often enough to cool the bungalows especially at night. All bungalow interiors have a similar layout.
 Beach Junior Suite Bungalows
At 55 square metres in size including the deck, these Junior Suite-style bungalows have a bedroom and lounge area plus a large bathroom with separate shower and bath. All feature a Polynesian island style natural wood décor. Two are wheelchair accessible.

Bedding Configuration: 1 King or 2 Single beds
Additional Bedding: 1 Sofa bed
Overwater Lagoon Junior Suite Bungalows and Overwater Horizon Junior Suite Bungalows
Similar to the Beach Junior Suite Bungalows but built on stilts over the lagoon, these bungalows are 50 square metres in size including a 20 square metre integrated deck over 2 levels which features a sun-deck, outdoor shower, chairs and dining area. One is wheelchair accessible.

Bedding Configuration: 1 King or 2 Single beds
Additional Bedding: 1 Sofa bed
Overwater White Villas
Similar in design and facilities to the other Horizon Bungalows, the 4 Overwater White Villas provide the option of a more contemporary white interior.

Additional Bedding: 1 Sofa bed
Getting to and from InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort
Bora Bora Airport is located on an island in the lagoon and you get wonderful views of the whole island as you approach. A comfortable launch transfer is provided between the airport jetty and the resort and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes each way.
Kids Policy
Children 14 years of age and under stay free if accommodated in existing bedding, sharing with at least 1 paying adult. If an extra bed is requested, an extra bed charge applies.
Children 14 years of age and under eat and drink free from the Kids Menu when dining with at least 1 paying adult.

The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however, the Hotel standard times and rates are as follows:

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing.
If cancellations are effected within 7 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to one night’s accommodation will be levied.
