According to the local people Anaiki means the ‘kings’ cave’, a place that was soley reserved for the kings use. Avaiki Caves offer excellent relaxing, snorkelling, swimming or reef walking. The Palaha cave is only 200m to the North and Hio, one of the few sandy beaches on the island is also nearby along with other sea-tracks. Anaiki Palms Motel provides a relaxing atmosphere in natural surroundings on more than 6000m² grounds with large coconut trees and native bush. Our Thoughts on Anaiki Palms Motel
The former Anaiki Motel, has closed and is undergoing renovations and will re-open in 2013! The Anaiki Palms Motel has a super location just back a little from the cliff top which means there are wide ocean views from every unit. Just wander down the lawn to the cliff-top lookout and hold your breath, the view from the lookout is amazing. For those seeking quiet contemplation this is the place to start, and for those looking to seek out some of Niue’s wonderful, natural attractions, you can’t go wrong starting from here. The coast around Anaiki Palms is littered with sea tracks and one, virtually on the property will take you directly down to Avaiki Cave. Just imagine being able to access calm, quiet Avaiki and its clear-as-glass water for a cooling swim any time you wish. Palaha Cave, a dry cave with beautiful limestone formations, is close by for more exploring or you can just wander along the road and take the sea track down to Hio Beach for more swimming and snorkelling. A couple of kilometres up the coast road and you will be near Matapa Chasm and the Talava Arches. It is a bit of a hike into Alofi Town from here but it’s an easy bike ride – better still, it’s only 8 minutes to Alofi by scooter-style motorbike or rental car.

Anaiki Palms have a self-service laundry (small charge) and ironing facility is available on request. They have complimentary use of snorkelling gear, although the supply is limited, so if you are an avid snorkeler it may be wise to bring your own set, beach towels are available on request.

Your Accommodation Options
Anaiki Palms Motel comprises one accommodation block which contains four 1 Bedroom Units and one open-plan Studio Unit, all have open lounge, front deck with stunning ocean views. All units are self-contained and serviced daily (except Sunday). The units are fully insect-screened, have fully equipped kitchen with dining area, fridge, microwave, cook-top, mini stove, pedestal fans and telephone. A complimentary breakfast starter-pack is provided for all arriving guests. Bathrooms have a shower. All units have a TV and clock-radio. Pedestal fans are provided to assist cooling when needed. The units have a front deck complete with outdoor seating – great spot from which to watch the sunsets.

A separate bedroom and separate lounge.
Existing bedding is 1 Queen double bed in the bedroom and a fold-out sofa bed in the lounge.
Maximum occupancy is 4 people (adults and children).

 Studio Unit
One open-plan space.
Existing bedding is 1 Queen double bed. Two additional fold-away beds can be added.
Maximum occupancy is 4 people (adults and children).

Getting To and From Anaiki Palms Motel
As required, we will include airport transfers in all holiday package arrangements.

Kids’ Policy
Children are welcome at Anaiki Palms.

Cancellation Policy
Three days accommodation will be charged for cancellations 10 days or less to scheduled arrival
