Our thoughts on The Westin 
The Westin oozes quality from the moment you set foot in its massive lobby. The Westin was the first resort built on Denarau Island some 30 odd years ago, so it has a great location. When opened (as The Regent of Fiji), this resort was the "Grande Dame" of the Fiji tourism plant and she took it to a new level of sophistication. Many refurbishments and improvements later she still more than holds her own today as a modern Westin Resort. We like the calm tranquillity and the "Fijian feel" of the place that you experience right from the moment you arrive at the "Grand Bure" reception area and this feeling continues on through to the restaurants, pools and gardens and the guest rooms and services.

At The Westin Denarau adult guests and children accompanied by adults receive complimentary buffet breakfasts at the Ocean Terrace Restaurant.

Specials
During various periods throughout the year, The Westin Denarau rewards guests staying 5 consecutive nights with up to 2 nights free. For example, a bonus of “5 nights for the price of 4” applies for stays during the period 22 April to 22 June and 15 July to 04 November 2012.
For stays during the period 01 November 2012 to 28 March 2013 (excluding 28 December 2012 to 05 Januray 2013) the bonus is “5 nights for the price of 3”.

Your Room Options
At around 40 square metres each, all the rooms at The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa are a good size by hotel room standards. The rooms are all in two storey blocks. The ground floor rooms have a private patio and the first floor rooms have a balcony and all have a touch of Fijian flavour that sits well with the usual Westin high standards and facilities. Great beds too! The Resort allows smoking on room balconies or patios only.

Recently refurbished, very quiet and private. Enjoy clear views of the beach and ocean with just a narrow strip of lawn between you and the beach.

 Ocean View Room
Recently refurbished, most of the Ocean View Rooms are a mere 50 metres from the ocean and provide you with views of the tropical gardens and the ocean from the balcony or patio.

 Deluxe Tropical Garden Room
Recently refurbished and located a little further back from the beach, the Deluxe Tropical Garden Rooms provide a relaxing outlook of the colourful tropical gardens.

 Ocean Front Suite
Newly refurbished, beautifully appointed, Ocean Front Suites overlook the lush tropical gardens, the beach and the the ocean and feature all the standard room amenities as well as DVD player and surround sound system. Refreshing spacious, the 80 square metre suites are inspired by traditional Fijian design featuring earthy colours, contemporary furnishings and intriguing Fijian artwork. Each has a private balcony or patio, separate lounge and dining areas and surround sound system.

 Ocean Front 2 Bedroom Villa
Newly refurbished, beautifully appointed, Ocean Front 2 Bedroom Villas overlook the resorts tropical gardens, the beach and the ocean and feature a master bedroom, a second bedroom, (both of which feature the standard room amenities including an ensuite bathroom) as well as living rooms consisting of a lounge with TV and stereo system, a dining area and a kitchenette, fully equipped with a cooktop, microwave, sink, dishwasher, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and a complete set of crockery, glasses and cutlery. At 120 square metres, these 2 bedroom suites provide plenty of space. Each room comes with its own private balcony or patio, surround sound system and DVD player.

 Regent and Royal Suite
Luxuriously appointed, the stunning Regent and Royal Suites provide an inspiring haven for you to discover renewal. Relaxation comes easy with your own large private balcony offering magnificent panoramic views of the resort’s lush gardens; palm fringed beach and the enchanting Pacific Ocean from your living room and private balcony. These very spacious120 square metre suites feature a master bedroom and bathroom with freestanding bathtub, separate dining and living area, an office, pantry,guest bathroom, surround sound system and DVD player. An Inter-connecting room facility is available sunject to availability.

Getting to and from The Westin
We will provide a coach or private car arrival/departure transfer from/to Nadi International Airport to The Westin. Transfer time is approximately 30 minutes.

Kids Policy
Westin family plan applies whereby children 12 years of age and under are complimentary if accommodated in existing bedding, sharing with at least 1 paying adult. If an extra bed is requested, an extra bed charge applies. Rollaway beds are permanently on request. There is a maximum of 1 rollaway bed per room. Maximum 2 adults and 2 children, or a maximum of 3 adults per room

Children 12 years of age and under have access to special children’s menus at all outlets where applicable except Ports O’ Call at Sheraton Fiji and Hamacho’s at The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa. Adolescents 13 years and above, regular menu pricing applies.

Children aged 3 years and under are free of charge and Children between 3 and 12 years of age pay 50% of the full adult price provided they are accompanied by at least 1 paying adult. And only up to a maximum of two children per room. Adolescents 13 years and above, regular show or dinner/show pricing applies.

Check-in/Check Out
The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however, the Hotel standard times and rates are as follows:
Check In Time: 3.00pm
Check Out Time: 11.00am

 Access prior to 3.00pm - Pre-registration from night before at contract rate (Subject to availability at time of check-in.)
 Late Check Out up to 6.00pm - 50% of nightly rate
 Late Check Out after 6.00pm - 100% of nightly rate
 Early Check Out - Once check-in formalities have been completed, guests will be charged accommodation plus any taxes for the full duration of their reserved stay.
 Day use rooms can be provided at 50% of the nightly rate between 12:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs. A full night’s charge will apply for check-in prior to 12:00 hrs as well as for check-out after 18:00 hrs.

Cancellation Policy
 All cancellations must be made in writing.
 If cancellations are effected within 14 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to one night’s accommodation including taxes will be levied.
 For cancellations received 14 days or less prior to arrival during the following peak school holidays period: 23 Jun 2012 - 14 Jul 2012, 22 Sep 2012 - 06 Oct 2012, 28 Dec 2012 - 05 Jan 2013 & 29 - 31 Mar 2013 will attract a penalty per room per night for the number of rooms booked.
 Guests that cancel within 48 hours, or check in after their scheduled arrival date will be charged accommodation including taxes for all nights the room was booked but not occupied.
 No-shows: A penalty of all nights accommodation charge per room will apply for all no-shows.
