Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa is 5-star luxury accommodation, set on Rarotonga’s stunning south-east coast, offering an exciting new choice for the discerning traveller. We recognize that some travellers prefer to be entirely self-sufficient, while others prefer a full service 5-star experience. Te Manava gives you the best of both worlds.

- Our Base Rate gives you exclusive access to your fully self-contained, luxurious and elegant 5-star villa complete with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry.
- You select any additional services you require from our comprehensive menu of ‘a-lacarte’.
Guest Services – ranging from daily housekeeping services and Bvlgari luxury bathroom products, through to a 5-course dinner prepared on site by your own personal executive chef.
In this way, you only pay for those services you want and need. And how you spend your time at Te Manava is entirely up to you…
About the Villas…
The villas are either one, two or three-bedroom, in either a beachfront or garden setting. Each villa includes kitchen and laundry facilities and individual pool. Te Manava is located on Rarotonga’s beautiful south-eastern coast. Sweeping in an arc for a full kilometre, Muri beach is a picture-perfect white sand beach fringed by palm trees, and lapped by the gentle waters of a swimming lagoon.”

Our Thoughts on Te Manava Luxury Villas and Spa
The location is perfect; just 20 minutes drive from Rarotonga Airport and 15 minutes from the main town, Avarua on the southern end of Muri Beach. If you have ever walked the length of Muri Beach at Sunrise, (we would recommend you rise early  and do that at least once, even if you are not staying on this side of the island), you will note that the Muri Beach Club and The Pacific Resort are located near the northern end of the beach and that at the southern end of the beach and Muri Lagoon there is a small promontory of land marked by a scattering of natural black rocks in the perfect white sand and on that low promontory the 5 Star Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa is located. For guests staying at Te Manava, it is a mere 15 minute walk to Muri Village and its restaurants, cafes, food-markets, etc.

Te Manava is a very welcome addition to the range of Resort properties in Rarotonga, in that it fully delivers its promise of 5 Star, fully self-contained, Accommodation at a 5 Star location. We appreciate the fact that Te Manava have rated their 2 Garden Retreat Villas at 4 Star (and pretty good 4 Star they are too), just to make sure that prospective guests know in advance exactly what is on offer and what standard to expect of all villas.  

One may well wonder how a property could possibly rate so high when there is no restaurant on site to provide meals or when daily housekeeping/maid service is not included. Well, the answer to that is simply this; that should guests decide to have meals and/or daily housekeeping/maid service that will readily be provided at a pre-set price from the Guest Services Menu.  Continental breakfasts can be delivered to your Villa and five-course dinners can be prepared on site by an executive chef.  Having a Guest Services Menu is a brilliant concept.  It provides the option of taking a holiday in a superb villa in a wonderful location, making full use of the self-contained facility, at certain rate then giving you the option to include any services you may decide to add.  This ensures that you are not paying for something you, personally, may not necessarily need to enjoy a fantastic holiday. In a way the concept is similar to that which some airlines now offer in economy class – seat only, seat with bag, seat with bag and entertainment etc.  It’s the same seat; you just decide what to add to suit your own requirements. At Te Manava, it’s not an economy class seat you start with; it’s a superb 5 Star Villa!

The Base Rate includes:-

Your Accommodation Options
As you enter Te Manava Luxury Villas and Spa from the round island road, the two villas on your left of the driveway are the 4 Star Te Manava Holiday Homes 3 bedroom Garden Retreat Villas.

The driveway widens out as you pass the stand-alone Spa building and ahead of you are the 5 Star Te Manava Luxury Villas. The 3 bedroom beach-front Presidential Villa is directly ahead and to the right there are two 2 bedroom beach-frontage villas - Ultimate Beachfront Villas. There is a 3 bedroom Ultimate Beachfront Villa on the left-hand boundary of the Resort and between this 3 bedroom Ultimate Beachfront Villa and the Presidential Villa is a final building which houses the 3 Beachfront Villa Suites with the 2 Garden Villa Suites behind which face inward towards the individual pool courtyards.

Room Categories
 Garden Villa Suites
Both Garden Suite Villas offer perfect privacy.  These, approximately 87 square metre villas have an open-plan layout.  The kitchen is not in a separate room, but cannot be seen from the sleeping area and the living area, which contains either a dining table and chairs or a sit-up servery as well as 2 lounge chairs and coffee table opens to the private courtyard and private pool via wide sliding glass doors.  The courtyard contains a quality BBQ and 2 sun-loungers.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults
Existing Bedding Configuration: 1 Super King

 Beachfront Villa Suites
At 100 square metres in area, each of the three Beachfront Villa Suites offer a spacious open-plan option.  These Villa Suites all have high ceilings, a separate kitchen area and very generous sleeping and living areas. The living area includes a desk and chair and 2 lounge chairs plus coffee table and there is still plenty of space.  The living area opens up to a sizeable beachfront deck which contains a private swimming pool, 2 sun-loungers and BBQ. Each is high-screened from its neighbours.

 2 Bedroom Ultimate Beachfront Villas
The design of these superb villas makes them suitable for 2 couples sharing or for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.  They are also a fantastic option for 1 couple who may be looking for additional personal space as the second bedroom and bathroom, which is located across the private garden courtyard from the main bedroom and the living rooms, can be locked off.  At between 230 and 272 square metres in size, the 2 bedroom Ultimate Beachfront Villas provide plenty of space, no matter how they are configured.  The main bedroom is separate from the lounge and fabulous kitchen area. There are extensive decks and 4 sun-loungers, outdoor dining table for 4, private BBQ and stepped decking down to the beach.

Existing Bedding Configuration: 2 Super Kings or 1 Super King & 2 Single Beds

 3 Bedroom Ultimate Beachfront Villa
At 372 square metres in area, all on the ground floor, the 3 bedroom Ultimate Beachfront Villa is a wonderful option for an extended family or a group of friends.  As well as the superb kitchen and the large lounge and dining area which opens one way out to the courtyard, pool and BBQ and the other out to the beachfront, there is another deck which is almost right on the beach on which there is a second outdoor dining setting.  There are 3 bedrooms.  The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the second and third bedrooms share a second bathroom. The third bedroom is a little smaller than the other two bedrooms.
Maximum Occupancy: 6 Persons
Existing Bedding Configuration: 3 Super Kings or 2 Super Kings & 2 Single Beds

 Presidential Beachfront Villa (3 Bedrooms)
WOW!  With a total area of 560 square metres, the Presidential Beachfront Villa has 138 square metres of internal living space on the ground floor and 64 square metres on the first floor. The master bedroom and its massive ensuite bathroom occupy the entire first floor.  There are 2 other bedrooms on the ground floor which share a bathroom. The second bedroom on the ground floor is only around half the size of the main bedrooms and holds one single bed. There is a private garage for 2 cars (the laundry is also in the garage).  The huge courtyard contains a meandering swimming pool, sun-lounges, BBQ and outdoor dining setting for 6 people.  The entire living area, which includes a beautiful, modern kitchen, lounge and dining (for 8) can be opened up to the courtyard on one side and the deck, the lagoon and the ocean on the other side. In addition, there is a covered outdoor lounge area facing the beach and the lagoon.
Maximum Occupancy: 5 Persons
Existing Bedding Configuration: 2 Super Kings & 1 Single Bed

 2 Te Manava Holiday Homes 4 Star Garden Retreat Villas
Not quite as luxuriously appointed as the 5 Star Villas, but still very good indeed.  These villas, which are closer to the round island road, are both a total of 475 square metres in size, with 100 square metres of internal living space on the ground floor and 40 square metres on the first floor, which is taken up entirely by the master bedroom and its ensuite bathroom. The ground floor is presented in the modern design where the beautiful kitchen is the focal point and the lounge and dining areas emanate out from there. On 4 sides, the living area can be opened up to the courtyard which contains a swimming pool, sun-loungers and BBQ .The 2 full-size bedrooms on the ground floor share a bathroom.  A separate laundry and an exclusive parking area completes the picture. These villas are not on the beach, but the beach is very close.
Maximum Occupancy: 6 Persons
Existing Bedding Configuration: 3 Super Kings or 2 Super Kings & 2 Single Beds

Getting to and from Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa
We will provide a coach or private car arrival/departure transfer from/to Rarotonga International Airport to Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa.

Kids Policy
Children aged 11 years and under stay free of charge (maximum 2 children) when sharing the same room as parents using existing bedding. 

Check-in/Check Out
The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however, the Hotel standard times and rates are as follows:
Check In Time: 2.00pm
Check Out Time: 10.00am

 Day use rooms can be provided at a special rate between 6.00am - 2.00pm and 10.00am - 6.00pm.

Cancellation Policy
 All cancellations must be made in writing.
 If cancellations are effected between 45 and 15 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of total stay will be levied.
 If cancellations are effected within 14 days of scheduled arrival including no shows, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of total stay will be levied.
