“A welcome addition to Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel are six new 2 bedroom villas in a 2 storey building nestled on the white sandy beach in the village of Vaimaanga; just 4 kms or 5 minutes drive from the hotel.
There are 6 villas with 3 on the ground floor and 3 on the upper level. Each villa has 2 bedrooms with King size bed which can be split into 2 singles. The bedrooms each have their own ensuite bathroom with a shower only. Each villa is ABSOLUTE beachfront with air-conditioning, has a spacious modern kitchen and living area complete with fridge/freezer, microwave, stovetop, flat screen TV with DVD player, Sky TV and an iPod docking system.
The open-plan living area opens out into a lovely beachfront patio or balcony where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful views out over the lagoon.
The rooms are tastefully decorated with Polynesian furnishings and modern amenities. Moana Sands Beachfront Villas are conveniently located right across the road from a mini supermarket open daily and a popular local restaurant “Vaima” is within 3 minutes walking distance.

Our Thoughts on Moana Sands Beachfront Villas
As you arrive under the huge sheltered porch in front of Moana Sands Beachfront Villas, you can only be impressed by the superb beach-front location. The building looks great from the road, but wait until you check in and check out how close you villa is to the beach and the lagoon!
All six villas are in the one big building and each runs the whole depth of the building from the arrival area right through to the beach. Staying in one of the 3 ground floor villas, from your private patio, you step straight out onto the sand. Immediately above, the 3 first floor villas have private balconies fronting the beach and the lagoon. As well as kitchens, you’ll be pleased to find other apartment-like facilities such as hairdryers and iron and ironing board.
The two bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom, are located towards the back of the villa and the open-plan living area is at the front and opens on to the patio or balcony and that great view. Furnishings are tropical/modern. All guests receive a complimentary continental breakfast starter pack. The local super-store right across the road will be one of your first stops to stock up on fruit, groceries and supplies.

All villas are configured exactly the same.
Existing bedding is 1 King bed in each bedroom. Each bed can be unzipped to provide 2 Single beds.
Maximum occupancy is 4 people (4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children).
Getting to and from Moana Sands Beachfront Villas
We will provide a coach or private car arrival/departure transfer from/to Rarotonga International Airport to Moana Sands Beachfront Villas.

Kids Policy
Children aged 2 years and under stay free of charge (maximum 2 children) when sharing the same room as parents using existing bedding.

The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however, the Hotel standard times and rates are as follows:
Check In Time: 12.00pm
Check Out Time: 10.00am
Cancellation Policy
 All cancellations must be made in writing.
If cancellations are effected between 30 - 15 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to one night’s accommodation will be levied.
If cancellations are effected between 14 - 8 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to two night’s accommodation will be levied.
If cancellations are effected within 7 days of scheduled arrival including no shows, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of total stay will be levied.
