Our Thoughts on Aitutaki Escape
Luxurious Aitutaki Escape is located near the northern tip of Aitutaki only 2 minutes drive from the airport. Facing north-west over Aitutaki’s outer lagoon and capturing the wonderful sunsets, the 3 spacious villas front a long white-sand beach. Aitutaki Escape provides high quality beach-front accommodation and privacy in a secluded setting.
From the moment you arrive at Aitutaki Escape, you realise that you are in for a very special experience. The entrance to each individual villa is through a private gate into the high-walled courtyard of the villa. The wooden-decked courtyard flows into the villa proper with its big open plan living area and separate bedroom/s. From the living area the villa opensto the beach via another deck which becomes a boardwalk out over the beach ending almost at the water’s edge.
This whole beachfront deck and boardwalk set-up is, to us, a great example of how well the design of Aitutaki Escape’s villas has been planned with the comfort and convenience of guests in mind. In the afternoon or evening, after a swim or spa in your own swimming pool or spa pool or having showered prior to dining out, you can wander barefoot out over the beach via your individual beach boardwalk, watch the sunset from your own over-beach deck, cocktail in hand, then after the sunset display is over, return to your private villa without a grain of sand on your feet! (unless you step off the deck or boardwalk of course).
Then there are the regular inclusions – complimentary bottle of bubbles and gift basket on arrival, choice of continental or cooked breakfast basket of ingredients (for you to whip up breakfast at a time to suit yourself), delivered each day, complimentary use of snorkelling gear, individual villa kayaks, bicycles and beach towels and best of all, the resort’s own concierge who is available to assist with anything that will make your holiday more enjoyable.
Your Accommodation Options
Aitutaki Escape has a minimum 3 night stay policy and several special deals for longer stays, like free return airfares from Rarotonga, if guests stay 5 nights or more. Ask Our Specialists for details of other special deals. (All subject to change at any time).
The two, 1 bedroom villas, known as Maina and Akaiami, and the one, 2 bedroom villa – Tapuaetai all enjoy an absolute beachfront location.
1 Bedroom Villas. Maina & Akaiami
Both the 1 bedroom villas provide guests with the utmost privacy. The spa pool is located in the private courtyard and the bedroom also opens on to the private courtyard.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults
Existing Bedding Configuration: 1 Super King Bed
2 Bedroom Villa. Tapuaetai
Apart from the additional space, the 2 bedroom villa provides 2 bedrooms and 2 ensuite bathrooms. The spa bath is located in the beachfront deck. The main bedroom opens out to the beach frontage while the second bedroom opens to the privacy of the walled courtyard. Both spacious bedrooms have a super king-sized four poster bed.

Getting to and from Aitutaki Escape
A domestic flight from Rarotonga to Aitutaki is required.
We will provide a vehicle arrival/departure transfer from/to Aitutaki Airport to Aitutaki Escape.
Kids Policy
Children under 18years of age are not permitted.
Check-in/Check Out
The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however, the Hotel standard times and rates are as follows:
Check In Time: 2.00pm
Check Out Time: 11.00am
Cancellation Policy
 All cancellations must be made in writing.
If cancellations are effected between 30 - 15 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to one night’s accommodation will be levied.
If cancellations are effected between 14 - 8 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to three night’s accommodation will be levied.
If cancellations are effected within 7 days of scheduled arrival including no shows, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of total stay will be levied.
