AUGUST 2014

Hi Briar,

Tamanu Beach Early August. Our twelve day stay was our sixth visit to Aitutaki and our third stay at Tamanu over twelve years. The magic still keeps calling us back in spite of our being past our mid-eighties.

The bungalow accommodation is a spacious room with a fully equipped self-catering kitchenette and a separated shower and toilet. All very convenient and spotless.

The dining area is now a separate open, spaced, building about 75m.along the beach towards their other accommodation, and can cater for seventy or eighty diners. We enjoyed the tropical fruit continental breakfasts and we found the more formal setting of evening meals quite special. The menu choices for dinner were enterprising and we enjoyed the opportunities for casual social contacts.

The outstanding feature of Aitutaki and in particular, Tamanu Beach Resort, is and has always been, the caring friendliness of the people and the staff.

We feel that at Tamanu there was a delightful balance between the trained professional and the interested friendliness components of caring for the guests.

For those who enjoy peace and quietness Tamanu Beach is the ideal holiday resort.
