"Our apartments are approx 1 km from Muri beach direct by kayak (3 minutes by car, 15 minutes walk) with its shops and restaurants. The Moorings lunch bar (the best fresh fish sandwiches) is 200 metres along the shoreline. Town is 10 minutes and Airport 15 minutes by car. Bus stop is 50 metres, with buses stopping every 30 minutes. Beautiful local church is right beside the bus stop.
The apartments are 50 metres to seaward side of the main road, so there is no road noise.
For keen fishermen, this is a key location. Our jetty juts out into the Avana harbour, giving easy boat access to two FADs (fish aggregation devices), each located 2 km from the harbour entrance. 
The apartments are open to cooling sou east winds for 7-8 months of the year.
